Barcelona Olympic Legacy

Saw a bit on the news last night about the olympic legacy left after the Barcelona Olympics.........How the Olympic Stadium is now empty and a bit of a white elephant due to the athletics track and Espanyol feeling it wasnt suitable for a football stadium anymore and moving to a purpose built stadium.
How Picky are them spaniards, due they not know that seating miles from the pitch is the way forward!!!

Precisely. In a downturn like Stewie is postulating, those who get fucked the most are those with most leverage. That's what did it for Leeds, remember, and that's what did it for Iceland too. In this case, the strategy being pursued by the owners is a good one.

I don't know what amazes me more, the irrelevancies, the ill informed opinions, the stubbornness or the pseudo-intellectual supposition.
Proof positive once again that WHU were absolutely correct in not polling supporters in advance of the bid.
