I would want 2 cat A, but they let the commercial partners have first pick. Sat there for a rugby league game last year and it's a brilliant place to sit. Especially for those of a larger frame.

Re: Play off final prices and allocations.....
Ive never understood this tempting fate thing, how can some words on a screen effect the outcome of two football matches? It's like people revert to being peasants from the middle ages, afraid the sky might fall on their heads.

You are tempting fate Know it all, you are obviously not a superstitious type and seem very comfortable with the possibility of having egg all over your face.

Just like last season when people on here were worrying about cup final allocations prior to the 2 leg semi against Brum.

The semi final isn't a one off game.....

Re: Play off final prices and allocations.....
People do realise there's a semi final before a final?

In these 1 off games, the result is far from a given.

Madness to suggest by default we're going to be in the PO finals, and very arrogant as well.

Re: Play off final prices and allocations.....
dagenham-hammer, I'm pretty certain that that only happens in exceptional circumstances i.e. a clearly much bigger club, with a much larger demand for tickets, playing against a smaller outfit in the Play-Off final.

In the case of Millwall; they'd never played at Wembley before and most of their fans can travel there easily and so they managed to sell bucket loads of tickets - even though a large majority of their supporters probably hadn't been to The Den in years.

If, say, for argument's sake, we played Birmingham in the Play-Off final - they'd give us 40k each - even though we could sell a lot more tickets than them.

However, Birmingham should be able to sell 40k tickets for a Play-Off final, even though their support isn't that great, so they'd give us the same allocation as it's only fair.

Re: Play off final prices and allocations.....
As stated it could possibly be bollocks but this figure was stated at beginning of season.

The football league distrubute more tickets to the bigger team to get the most profit and example of this is millwall's promotion where they 3\\4 of the ground.

Re: Play off final prices and allocations.....
It won't matter what the allocation is or how much the tickets are because West Ham don't do Wembley.

Re: Play off final prices and allocations.....
dagenham-hammer, your mate in the ticket-office is clearly a fucking idiot then.

Clubs are allocated up to just under 40k seats for all three Football League Play-Off finals at Wembley stadium.

Dagenham:

Your mate is talking bollocks, according to the official football league website the teams got 40k each

I did try to motivate sham67 to organise a WHO ex-pat box at Wemberley (SHOULD WE MAKE IT THERE!), but II'm not sure he's got the connections to pull it off.
He has a track record of pulling something off, but that's an entirely different ball game.
