Wonderkid :-)

Hermit last 2 Man U games absolutely disgusting dives by Young - the thing is Young didn't need to do it as Man U would have wiped the floor with the opponents -

Re: Sunday football
They should be able to fine clubs or suspend players on review of video evidence of blatant diving, would soon put an end to it.

Managers as well need to take responsibility, they all bleat on about it when it affects there team but some how turn a blind eye if its there player who takes a dive.

I recently watched the 1970 Brazil v England game on DVD. Absolutely stunned to see the Brazilians diving every 5 minutes.

I think Young Bale and Suarez should be banned for next season.

DagenhamDave

When I was managing a school team 1 kid said to me "want me to dive and get a penalty?"

I told him and the ready of the team, in no uncertain terms
"if anyone dives, they'll never play for the school again"

Diving disgusts me

If I were a manager I would encourage my players to go down with contact as they will not receive the penalties they are entitled to unless they do.

B-Bob...

Disagree...
Parker had a good game...hardly a great one...

Re: Sunday football
As I said earlier, if you deliberately throw yourself on the floor, you have dived, even if there us contact.

you should be banned.

For 10 games

Re: Sunday football
If refs gave penalties for contact in the area then diving wouldn't be a problem. People dive because you don't get decisions unless you do.

Re: Sunday football
The tottenham fans have fallen into the trap of believing CL qualification is the be all and end all. They would rather have qualified for the CL than win the FA Cup.

Nothing would give me more pleasure than to see them now finish outside the top 4*

*us winning promotion would give me more pleasure, but you see what I mean

Re: Sunday football
No, I would have told the ref it didn't cross the line.

Basildon Bob 8:19 Sun Apr 15
Re: Sunday football
whole problem is players cheat for 90mins now, even over trivial things like a throw in on the half way line, keane was right the ref guessed,i guess he should be sacked

Mad Dog 8:18 Sun Apr 15

Oh look, more cheating

So you wouldn't have claimed it then griffin?

Re: Sunday football
So, JTsey admits he knew it wasn't over the line, and yet there he was claiming the goal and celebrating. So, rather than talking about referees and technology, why don't we start with you trying not to be a massive fucking cunt all your life, John?
