CFC was at his most prolific when playing with another striker and is scoring again. Was never a one up front man.
Can't park the bus against City but they will score at least 2. However with accurate crosses from our full backs I recon we can cause them problems.

It's pretty simple against Man City, if they play well, they'll probably win by 3, if we sit back, we've got no chance either way, so same as the Liverpool game for me, go out, give it a real goal early on, see if we can rattle them, it's our best chance of getting something.

We had Demel, Tomkins, Kouyate, Zarate and Carroll missing though. IMO that bench isn't bad bearing that in mind.
That said I am worried about LB. Creswell offers a lot going forward which neither O'Brien or Potts would come close to.

We'll be much more cautious against Man City, and if we hold tight, we know we can keep anyone out. And at last, we have an attacking outfit that can give anyone problems.
No way should any one connected to West Ham voice the idea that we cannot beat next week's visitors.
I feel up for it, and stranger things have already happened this season.

We've still got work to do and creases to iron out but that was a good win, considering that we'll lose next week.
Burnley could have had a million shots, for all I care, we took more of our chances and that is why they will be relegated. I think we'll finish top half but I agree that we can't play like that against better teams.

11 games before the end of 2014 (6 in dec)....current form & confidence suggests 5-7 wins ...but as some one pointed out earlier this week, we had a crap run last year when we did not win a league game in nov & dec iirc...
home games v man city, villa, newcastle, swansea, leicester, arsenal
away games v stoke, everton, west brom, sunderland, chelsea
got to get at least 5 wins in that run of games?
