Frank McAvennie Tournaments 2015
Hoping to have details for next year's events very soon so please WHOmail or e-mail jeff@footballforfans.co.uk if you want to get your name on the list for next year's events.

This will be the 11th year of these tournaments which have been so well supported. Unfortunately, it is very unlikely we will be able to carry on the events when we move to the Olympic Stadium so time is running out if this is something you have always wanted to do. The links below might whet a few appetites and my sincere thanks to everyone for their continued support :

Details to be announced very soon I just have a couple more questions for the club.

As expected they have raised prices significantly.

Getting Frank to play in a match was great, especially him scoring the winner.

Love to play again, will there be a number of WHO teams this year?

Re: Frank McAvennie Tournaments 2015
Oh great days they were before my knees and hips packed up and the waistline rendered me completely useless!!

The memories - scoring three years in a row - a 30 yard effort (which was actually two yards on the DVD - clearly doctored Jeff!!) - a penalty and a tap in from a mix up at a throw in.

Being walloped on the nose by Honest I think after said penalty in a pretty embarrassing goal celebration...

And claim to fame - marking Frank McAvennie for a full 5 minutes after he came on for the opposition and he didn't score although challenging for a header with him was cringe worthy to say the least considering the height difference!

But I'll take those days to my grave!

I should dig out the video of me scoring against the Avco Army, or more specifically, MPI missing a cross and me nodding in and going fucking mental.

Shorly before that, Fester had been interviewed on SSN saying "I don't care about good football I just want us in the Premier League".

Safe to say I've put on a bit of timber since then...

Superb bonus when SSN showed up that day. I seem to remember there were a few who did interviews.

ITV was my idea.

You had to go one step further and go on SSN too.
