It's a brilliant cinema, so worth it for me - the screen is completely immersive. And you can have a beer too

We've found the best seats are the end two in the middle section of the back three rows (you'll see what I mean on the seat map). When Odeon took over doing the ticketing, they realised this and made the back three rows the premium ones.

Enjoyed Dawn of the planet of the apes more than this

Re: interstellar
Nice one, will do.

Was that at the BFI?

I've already got tickets booked for the hobbit local to me, does look decent.

Re: interstellar
Was my first time as well

Advice, book early !

try to get the seats in the centre, they sell out quickly

Screen wraps around so if you are on the sides then the effects are not as good

I'm booking to go and see the new Hobbit film, battle of the 5 armies, they trailed it before Interstellar, looks amazing !

Re: interstellar
Bar the film, would you say the experience is worth 18/21 quid?

Never seen a film in IMAX before and it's something I've wanted to do for a while but never really heard anyone say whether it was worth it..

Re: interstellar
I paid 21 a pop for the IMAX, but had the premium seats up the back.

I still don't recommend the film

Hammers1993 5:17 Wed Nov 19
Re: interstellar
£18 a pop? Anyone else seen it in IMAX that would recommend?

Re: interstellar
I saw it at the Barbican, Gavros.

£6, and its so cosmopolitan people stay to watch the credits.

The credits!!

Re: interstellar
Im going to go and see the imitation game tonight, at the STEPNEY GENESIS. £4.50 a ticket and you can drink beer through the film.

London is SO much more cosmopolitan than Essex.

Re: interstellar
WELL I LIKED IT

On another note, that new Benedorm Cumbersnatch film about Alan Turing is superb, The Imitation Game. Go and see it.

Re: interstellar
I saw it last night.
I quite enjoyed it but it could have been edited better. It was probably 30-40 minutes too long.
The cinematography was beautiful though and the acting generally quite good.
I would give it a 7/10.

Well it's complete fantasy stuff Turan, so I'd imagine you'd be well into that kind of thing.

Coffee, not at all mate !

I'm one of his biggest fans, that is why I was royally miffed at the film, too self indulgent for me

Doesn't appeal to me, but going to see the hunger games new film this sat and am very excited about attending

Re: interstellar
It looks like Heroic Family Emo Porn on the trailer to me.

I liked Moon, only because it wasn't aimed at families. It wasn't constructed to tug at your heart strings.

I haven't seen it but the trailer comes across a bit cheesy to me.
