Depending on the fixtures a night at The Happy Valley Racecourse is great fun. I'm no real fan of horse racing. Only ever been to 3 meetings in the UK, but loved the night at Happy Valley.

Another option would be Sai Kung, but not at weekends (too bloody crowded). Decent seafood and nice scenery. Plus you can get your photo taken next to the signs for "Fuk Man Road" and "Wan King Path"...

Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central. Walk via Statue Square and HSBC Building up past St John's Cathedral to Peak Tram (but get there early or you'll be queuing for ever). Peak Tram up to Peak (sit towards rear and on right hand side for best view)

Walk around Peak (Lugard Road) can be quite nice (but if you're in from the countryside and so want more or the "city thing" then you might skip this if on 24 hours only)

From Peak head down towards Aberdeen Harbour. If you need bric-a-brac, from Aberdeen onto Stanley Market. Or at night, depending on the evening the Ladies Market in Kowloon.

Big Buddha on Lantau another option. MTR out to Tung Chung to get the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. But then try to get bus back to Silvermine Bay/ Mui Wo (passing through the poetically named former fishing village of Tong Fuk) and ferry back to Central.

Like Cough - there years ago but one thing I noted from advice at the time which would still work

Peninsula Hotel for afternoon tea, then the Star Ferry back to the Island as the sun sets - second class.

Must be second as you get a better visage angle of the setting sun and illuminations assuming prominence

In those days I think it was Panasonic, largest neon in the world

Happy days, all Boss suited and early twenties - world was my lobster then

Of course not, but then you do appear to have a nicely tailored suit on.

Ha ha, from their website, they don't mince their words

"Customization is especially attractive to those with distinctive body types. Tall men won't have any problems with short sleeves or pants that don't fit. Chubby men, on the other hand, can have suits made to make them look thinner and more attractive."

Jantzen will do you an excellent (sub Savile Row but next stage down) for about £25 last time i was there. Two fittings though, which is tough in 24 hours, though not impossible. I didnt enquire about the suits but if theyre as good as the shirts, will be well worth it.
