Johnson to Stoke. Hmmm...
Like so many players of a certain age who have played a lot of football down the years, it all comes down to injuries. If Johnson can remain fit all season and get to full fitness he will be a cracking signing on a free.

With the money sloshing around the Prem these days even clubs like Palace can pull off deals like this now.
We still have the better aquad and will always be the bigger club but our transfer record is only a few million more and the smaller clubs are catching up so we need to spend more to keep the staus quo.
We've spent a fair bit so far and will orob have the best WHU squad for years but with other clubs also a1ble to spend big we need to spend bigger otherwise we are standing still.
Don't forget Swansea, Palace and Stoke all finished above us last 2 seasons and we need to and should be finishing above them all.
Hoping however that Bilic can make the difference.

Apparently, HF have already had a meet up the local leisure centre, and a Cabaye song and choreography are sorted. They're just unsure where to put it in their latest production.

Good signing this. Spraying passes to the likes of bolassie. They get a decent striker and they will do ok. Would've loved him at West Ham though not sure how he'd fit in a supposed Bilic formation.

Have to agree with many on here, well don CP. Good signing and they have a very decent team. With the atmosphere their Morris dancing fans make, it'll be a tough place to go next season.

Spoke to someone from Palace yesterday who said that Spurs had come in with a late offer for him. Apparently he said that if it had been a Champions league team he might has changed his mind but was happy to say no to Spurs.

what a top top signing, him bolasie and zaha as a attacking trio could do well next year for them. They are a centre back and striker away from having a very strong squad under Pardew
