NSD. Sakho update.
http://www.whufc.com/News/Articles/2015/August/26-August/From-the-Treatment-Room
I want to start this week with some really positive news - Andy Carroll trained with the first-team squad on Tuesday and he will continue to do so as he continues to build up his match fitness ahead of a competitive return to action.
You can watch a video of Andy's return to training by clicking on the box above!
Diafra Sakho suffered an adductor strain in the game with AFC Bournemouth at the weekend and we are working hard to get him ready for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League match at Liverpool.
Mauro Zarate continues to recover well from the hamstring injury he suffered in training last week. Mauro is healing very well and if his recovery continues at the current rate, he has a chance to be available sooner than expected. We will evaluate his condition week by week.
Joey O’Brien has been recovering from a calf injury and he will be in rehabilitation for the next seven to ten days.
Finally, Enner Valencia has made a statement on whufc.com today, which you can read here.

The only public mention since Sakho posted his injury pics and scan on Sunday is from the Express and they reckon he's 50-50 for Saturday. Not one source, media outlet or the club itself have mentioned the injury.

Now is the time to just bite the bullet and just pay QPR £15 Million and get Austin in. Enough messing about. You can't send your new manager to Anfield with a striker less team.

The knicker wetting & negativity on this site is becoming even more extreme! I'm sure that negations a for another forward & wide man are very difficult, but will ultimately be successful. No one could have expected so many injuries of forwards & suspensions. Why don't we all calm down & stop this ridiculous doom & gloom crap & get back to supporting our team!

Juventus, Llorente on the verge of Seville. It remains Zaza
The deal is in the finishing straight: the two clubs in the coming hours will define the details. Turin does not move former striker Sassuolo
AUG. 25, 2015 - MILAN
After two full seasons of success, and with important goals, the adventure of Fernando Llorente at Juventus is almost over. Issues of days, maybe hours, but the striker will return to Spain and will wear the shirt of Seville. Now there are no more doubts.
OUTRIGHT - Juventus and Sevilla have found the point of understanding in the afternoon, when came the long-awaited white smoke: it remains for the details of an operation which will see Juventus yield defined as the ram Spanish to Seville. If Llorente part, Zaza's left. The immediate effect of the agreement with the Seville is to have removed from the market immediately Zaza. Former striker Sassuolo, tried persistently from West Ham, will be available to Allegri for next season. Juventus decided not to deprive.

Hammers make first offer for Moses Posted by Hugh5outhon1895 on August 25, 2015 in News, Whispers EXCLUSIVE
MosesWest Ham are chasing Victor Moses hard and still hoping to conclude a deal for the Chelsea winger.
The move has been approved by manager Slaven Bilic and the club’s negotiators are still in talks with the south west London club and doing their utmost to complete the deal.
ClaretandHugh understands that the Irons have offered £6 million for the player who has been on loan at Stoke and Liverpool over the past two season.
However, the Jose Mourinho managed-side are understood to be looking for around £10 million for a player who remains entirely peripheral to their first team plans.
A Hammers source told ClaretandHugh exclusively: “We are talking and believe a deal could be on and have made an offer of £6 million.
“Chelsea are looking for around £10 million but we remain hopeful that something can be sorted out.”
