To be honest I am more excited about this lad than the likes of Payet. If he kicks on next season I can really see him getting us 15-20 goals from right midfield which would be such an achievement.

So determined every game and you know you will get 100% from him every game. Such a talent.

Been great for us since he broke through. More importantly a top fella, gave his shirt to my son at the end of yesterday's game. It was fucking sweaty mind you

Re: Err Antonio?????
He looked incredibly raw at first and didn't even resemble a footballer. Ironically his rawness actually adds to his qualities. Throw in his pace, strength, stamina, work rate, attitude and eye for goal and we have a very talented and unique attacking midfielder.

How he's never even been mentioned for England is truly beyond me. It's as if nobody is noticing just what he's doing week in week out.

Antonio - HOTY . Agreed.

In a season where many could claim an entitlement to the title (Payet, Noble, Kouyate at least), the attitude and commitment of Antonio edges it for me. Love watching him play: lots on here have said his control can let him down: maybe so, but it's also one of his main assets. On the ball he plays instinctively, as if he himself has no idea what he's gonna do until he's done it (usually successfully). No prima-donna shit. Gloriously bemused facial expressions. He's a real diamond.

Re: Err Antonio?????
I told you all on November 22nd that he would score between 10-15 goals and collyrob said if he did he would be worth £30m.

I knew he was a beast but he had to convince Bilic first and for me he was HOTY.

Re: Err Antonio?????
There is a mode on fifa where you have your own player and control only him in an online match featuring at least another 15 individuals players. A couple years back everyone would make sure their pro was 7 ft so they had the brute strength to win every battle. Couple that with pace and it was pointless playing against them.

That's what Antonio reminds of. Absolute joker.

7M looks a snip.Hopefully he carries on until the end of the season and keeps it up in 2016/17 too.

VG yeah he seemed to be kind of aimlessly running with the ball, then suddenly looked up and nearly scored

Re: Err Antonio?????
That shot of his at the end, it felt like he beat about 7 people, one of those was the same one about 3 times.

Think I would still be celebrating now if that had gone in.

Mike - I was sat on that side and I thought he was going too carry on into the stretford end. Put in a great shift and did well against the only real threat from man utd.

Brilliant signing. Love the guy.

was right behind his shot at the end, thought it was sneaking in!
