Kodi XBMC

My Phoenix has somehow disappeared

When I say disappeared, the main title Phoenix is there but the sub title Phoenix under it has gone

Has anybody else seen this?

It's my main repo for watching streams, so I'm a bit gutted

I ended up watching the game on my laptop with a stream from the match day thread.

I'd forgot about all the annoying pop-ups and how many Russian girls were out there wanting to date me.

It's not just a matter of leaving it alone. If you loaded Kodi onto your Firestick from the Playstore, you have to make sure that you have auto-updates switched off on your Playstore account. Otherwise it will update to V19 and your Xanax build will stop working.

Fortunately our main TV didn't auto update so that's a relief but I can imagine how you felt last Sunday.

I must disable the auto updates in google play store.

Ted,. Same happened me, I was just sitting down to watch the game in Sunday and had V19 with nothing working.

The Google play store only has V19 available. It took me ages to find a way to reinstall V18, because I was trying to find a free working file explorer

It's all too easy done if you forget to disable the auto update in Playstore
If you Google Wirelesshack it will show you on there how to get back to v18 from v19, if that helps

'fraid not, ted. Only a few addons currently work with Kodi 19, like Seren 2, The Oath, Nemesis AIO and Revolution.
Your best bet is to uninstall Kodi and reinstall Kodi 18.9 from https://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/

(Or this one if you need a 64bit one - for the Shield etc. https://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm64-v8a/)

Then either install a V18 build or individual addons that you need.

If you want to stick with Kodi 19 you could install a V19 build, like the Element one from the Cman wizard at http://cmanbuilds.com/repo

This will install most/all of the addons that currently work with 19.
Then over the coming months, as more addons catch up with v19 you can add them.

Your Kodi hasn't updated to V19 by any chance?
Beware chaps, Kodi 19 has arrived. If you got yours from the Playstore make sure you turn off auto-update in the Playstore. Otherwise it will overwrite your current version and your addons and builds will stop working. There are currently only a couple of Kodi addons ready for V19. For anyone tempted to go for the Kodi update - don't. Wait at least a few months for addons to catch up.


My Bedroom TV Kodi has been bloody auto-updated for gods sake so can I just load my addons back on to V19 ?

Sorry, have to keep mine to myself, but I'm hearing really good feedback from reliable sources about SSTV. (The SS is not the old Secret Squirrel one, by the way)

I think it auto upgraded to v19. Unistalled and now the Google play store app only has v19 available. haven't yet found a way to re-install older version

I'm running the Tron build (from Ezzermacs wizard) on an Nvidia Shield.
There are much newer ones on the wizard, but mine is still working fine.
I also have a Firestick 4k with Amazon Prime, Netflix and Britbox, the last two from (cough!) alternative sources and an excellent IPTV service for flawless football streams.
