That Payet pass......
The one where he put Valencia in the one Valencia fucked up........any videos of it around?

The most outrageous pass I have ever seen.

Seeing the pass was one thing but putting that pace on it was ridiculous.

The man is a footballing genius.......Make no mistake about it.

Re: That Payet pass......
This thread really does just confirm Fordy's masochistic cravings.

He goes out of his way to constantly slag off a West Ham lad, particularly when he plays well (and I'm not blinkered as to Noble's shortcomings). Noble has been fantastic in the last 3 matches. He obviously does this to be cunted off. Then here he is now identifying a fairly good pass as the best through-ball he's ever seen. So even when he's grudgingly giving a back-handed compliment, his agenda is to look and be treated like a cunt.

Proper weirdo.

That said - I still like him.

I've scrolled through about 30 replies to this .....has no-one mentioned Sir Trev? What's wrong with you fellas? Read the rules of this site. In threads like this, concerning cerebral, skilful passing, it is mandatory to mention Mr Brooking. Buck up you lot.

I seem to remember Bishop was kopping a lot of flack towards the end of his time with us? Use to like the way he arched his body backwards before he pinged a pass.

I love a midfielder who passes forwards. Make him left footed and capable of a worldy and that's my idea player. Hagi & Nedved style.

Yeah, only one winner if you have to have to choose between Payet and Bish, Sold0 must be off his rocker.

Over all player I agree P Payet is better than Bish (so far) ... however you fucking wearing a flower in your hair lesbian... this thread is about PASSING A FOOTBALL... and Bish was KING OF THE PASS

Re: That Payet pass......
Payet is brimming with confidence at the moment, and everything he does (that pass included) benefits from him being in the zone. It's far too early to consider him as a West Ham "great".
Having said that, he has the great benefit of two good feet, and the speed of thought which that allows him to make decisions and progress play.
I also like his attitude in chasing around to win the ball.

Re: That Payet pass......
I just remember Bish trying to run back from the half way line. He wasn't the quickest. I hated that era where my original idols got too old for it. I wasn't too fussed Morley went though. Bish, Julian, Ludo were my favs.

'Well BISH passed to him. He actually played against Chelsea at home the following season I think. He certainly didn't play many though'

Didn't he set up the winner for Sinclair, or was it Potts (through ball)

Re: That Payet pass......
I reckon Bishop was at a similar level when it came to passing. He didn't ghost or trick his way past players the way Payet does though.

It's great we're discussing football the West Ham Way again, and that's down to Bilic.
