BBC
Britain will vote on whether to remain in the EU on Thursday 23 June, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.
The prime minister made his historic announcement in Downing Street after briefing the cabinet.
He said he would be campaigning to remain in a reformed EU - and described the vote as one of the biggest decisions "in our lifetimes".

So you admit that if the people decide to oppose the EU directives through the ballot box, they should be made to suffer

There's no political force, party or person that will unify the country. You thinking of a war.

The political force that will unite the country following Camaron’s catastrophic referendum will make sure the main architects of this totally unnecessary conflict with the EU’s main trading partner are brought to justice.

But first to true pain of Brexit will have to be felt, and that hasn’t even started yet.

And yet the 2005 Labour election manifesto contains a clear commitment to hold an EU referendum and, as much as he hates to be reminded of this, Nick Clegg and the LibDems called for an EU referendum in 2008

Why are you STILL trying to force this into a red vs blue matching? It's not and never was; have YOU learned NOTHING over the last 2 years? Oh, wait! You're a remainer- your education is long finished.

The reason for calling the referendum is irrelevant - that the British public took it upon itself to seize the opportunity to tell the bloated, non-productive administrative layer of society where it could shove the EU in it's current form is all that matters.

Lest you forget, Cameron DID go to the EU and try and get some changes (and all (ALL) the EU had to do was to "promise to look into the possibilities"), and remain would have sailed through the referendum. In reality, the EU has brought this upon itself - it has well and truly fucked one of it's 3 golden geese.

The ADULT response from the moment the referendum result was announced was to start planning for exit day, not start bickering because you didn't get your own way in a democratic vote you were perfectly happy to participate in (before the result was announced).

Brexit is primarily a Tory thing.

Well, It'll be Cameron's greatest achievement, at least.

Waaahmainers on the march today genuinely comparing Brexit to the Nazis.

Silly people.

And what a disgusting insult to the millions who died in the holocaust.

Brexit is primarily a Tory thing. We only had the referendum
because the Tories couldn't stop arguing about Europe. You are right again Johnners. Brexit is supported by the right of the Tory party and by the left of the Labour Party. Corbyn and Rees-Mogg make interesting bedfellows.

What’s interesting about a Tory on a pro-EU march?

You do know Brexit isn’t a Tory initiative and was cross-party on both sides, Coucho?

Besides she was all for trade and was absolutely not for giving up power to the Europeans.

The EU in its current form didn’t exist when she was PM so as usual lies from remainers.

Traitorous cunt is a phrase better used to describe Nigel Farage who helped con the country with his semi Russian mate Banks into voting for economic self-harm.

/the previous quote was from the Guardian so for balance from the Times:

Senior industry sources said that other large companies were considering making their views clear in the coming days. Privately the firms are telling ministers that unless the government commits to negotiating a deal that would effectively keep Britain in the single market and customs union for goods, then the future of their operations in this country will be jeopardised.

You are right. Trade will win the day. Hence we will end up with BrINO

Interesting to see today's march included an adviser to Mrs Thatcher:
Nicolas Maclean, a former adviser to Margaret Thatcher, marched with a group of about a dozen men and women brandishing “Tories against Brexit” placards. “She would be turning in her grave,” he said. “She said one of her greatest achievements in Europe was Britain taking the lead in setting up the single market and now some people in government want us to leave. It is an absolute disaster.”

Oh good - Poland and Italy as well as other east European states to get sanctions is good news for EU solidarity....

Macron backs sanctions on EU states that refuse migrants

France's President Emmanuel Macron welcomed Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to the Élysée Palace on June 23.
French President Emmanuel Macron came out Saturday in support of financial sanctions against EU countries which refuse to accept migrants.

"We can not have countries that benefit hugely from EU solidarity and claim national self-interest when it comes to the issue of migrants," he said at a press conference in Paris alongside Spain's new Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

"I am in favour of sanctions being imposed in the event of no cooperation," he said.

A number of pro-EU MEPs were filmed, and were happy to be so, going into EU strategy meetings where they were ‘Happy to help where we can by sharing information’. This was part of a 3 part series on the EU recently on TV here in the U.K

In addition, Blair, Clegg and other pro-Remain politicians have been having meetings with Juncker, Vergofstadt and Barmier. And they ain’t discussing the fucking weather. Traitorous cunts.
