EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
BBC
Britain will vote on whether to remain in the EU on Thursday 23 June, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.
The prime minister made his historic announcement in Downing Street after briefing the cabinet.
He said he would be campaigning to remain in a reformed EU - and described the vote as one of the biggest decisions "in our lifetimes".

(Reuters) - The United States ramped up its challenge to the global trading system on Friday, telling the World Trade Organization that appeals rulings in trade disputes could be vetoed if they took longer than the allowed 90 days.

The statement by U.S. Ambassador Dennis Shea threatened to erode a key element of trade enforcement at the 23-year-old WTO: binding dispute settlement, which is widely seen as a major bulwark against protectionism.

It came as U.S. President Donald Trump, who has railed against the WTO judges in the past, threatened to levy a 20 percent import tax on European Union cars, the latest in an unprecedented campaign of threats and tariffs to punish U.S. trading partners.

I am a British business person goose, and when it comes to policy, my faith goes where I can manage the situation. I tend to avoid mass movements that need to be organised and directed by strong leaders.

I agree goose and rarely agree with Pickled. However, he is right - Britain does need and deserves a better leader than 'Knee-jerk May'

Absolutely.

A Strong Leader is what is needed for Brexit Britain.

We'll get through.
It's been cumbersome having a remainer in charge. We would have been much further down the line and prepared ready to go with a leaver at the helm.
But, we'll get through.

Confidence works providing you have a plan and leaders to deliver it.

All the best with that.

I think the EU will give you the no-deal Brexit you crave, GSP.

After that, it doesn't matter what happens to you next because you asked for it.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
Anti Brexit march today and the BBC have given this their main headline, and you can be sure this will receive a lot of coverage over the weekend. Pictures will show billions turning up!

It says the people should have a vote on the final deal. Well if memory serves right the govt booklet two years ago said out of Single market, CU, our own powers etc etc., and that's what we voted out for and that should be it.

The only marching to be done is if the govt don't give us a full Brexit we voted for.

There has been too much exposure to remainers, especially by the BBC who are supposed to be unbiased.
About time leavers who have been dignified and reserved up to now as they await things to actually happen, and received their take on things so far.
The big disappointment is having a remain leader still. A leave leader would have been much better bringing the EU to task. Instead we have been timid and like naughty schoolchildren awaiting punishment.
Don't usually agree with Boris but about time we had a strong leader to take us through this process or we will end up down the knackers yard.

Remainers KNEW this was happening, hence them voting remain. Just like they KNOW they can do something about it if they don't like it*.

They will never tell the rest of us what that "something" is, though, as we can't even be trusted to vote the way they think we should have, let alone make up our own minds on anything else.

* - they will like it by default as it is an EU directive and the EU can do no wrong.

Exactly Gavros and you haven't got a clue either and you are one of the four biggest idiots on here thinking you do by preaching about remaining and what leaving might do.

NONE OF US KNOW THICKO.
