That is a large part of the matter.

Leaving the EU means fewer civil servants needed on both sides of the channel.

It is literally turkeys at Christmastime and their delusions of "real power" manifesting itself in the form of procrastination indicates that they believe they can still stop it (and save THEIR jobs) - that the fact (FACT) that out means out, whatever, has been completely ignored (or that they simply do not understand the full process).

Being the civil service I suspect it is one compounded by the other.

The EU and Remainer civil servants are very close to over-playing their hands. If May can't get a BINO Brexit through parliament then a hard Brexit just happens. Watch how quickly these negotiators on both sides can make a proper deal then!

Surface I see Andrea Jenkyns has resigned as a PPS citing the need to work harder to achieve a proper Brexit and citing the bias of the Brexit Committee which produces reports

"unbalanced in favour of the UK either remaining in the EU, the customs union or delaying our departure"

EFTA Court.

Do a bit of reading.

The EU's refusal to negotiate and Whitehall's complicity in this means we are probably closer to a hard Brexit now than we have been at any stage.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
any agreement that leaves the UK under the jurisdiction of the ECJ in part or in full and restricts the ability of the UK to pursue its own bespoke global trading arrangements, is BINO

The EU, in contravention of the Lisbon Treaty, have not conducted the negotiations in good faith, but the UK have not been prepared to call their bluff largely because the pro EU mandarins in Whitehall have made no preparations for the UK to leave in a worst case scenario, which strikes me as mind bogglingly stupid unless the intention is to obfuscate and fudge an outcome

So whether it is Brexit or BINO that is delivered remains to be seen (and no I do not support the UKIP 'lifting of the drawbridge to Europe' approach. But until the EU recognise their own manifest weakness and act in good faith, the UK needs to at least prepare for that outcome

Once again you post wildly inaccurate statements. You do not know for a fact that hard brexit won't happen. Its a Remain trait to think they know everything that is going to happen and knew everything about the EU before the referendum, all complete rubbish that they can't \\won't admit.

Low productivity, a massive structural current account deficit, high levels of specialisation in the existing relations with single market, low growth since actual Brexit became a prospect, the possibility of the peace process unravelling in NI, the possibility of a consitutional crisis with Scotland, the clear ties of the main hard Brexiters to the Kremlin crime family and the cunt claims the matter is closed.
Of course he wants it closed because he’s in the shit up to his neck and it is rising!

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
Exactly Gavros. Countries like France already have a massive bureaucracy where their own citizens have to prove they are entitled to ANYTHING that comes from the French government.

Britain treats its citizens well and they only need a permanent address to qualify for most benefits. That's the British way and the reason so many unknown immigrants from EU countries take the piss...

Im not arguing about leaving the EU, unless some of you are so slow as to not be able to properly read.

Im pointing out that your hard Brexit fantasies are not going to happen.

Sorry!

Article 50 states that we will leave on 29th March 2019, when we will Brexit as the clear majority voted. If it transcends that parliament can't come to an agreement as to the details, which looks certain, then we will Brexit without agreement or hard Brexit as the remainers like to call it, as time will have run out to come to any other arrangement, which is what the majority voted for in any case, therefore democracy will win the day.

You truly are a fucking idiot Wullie.

Ive shown you the legislation on EU migration control. There are countries that already stringently implement it. And lets not forget that the real immigration issue - that is, immigration from non-EU states and especially Muslim immigration - is nothing whatsoever to do with the EU

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
No Gavros you just made that up. That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying the EU policy is a fraud.

Make it difficult for foreigners to live in UK and the looney left will be up in arms and face legal actions with the Court of Human Rights.

If UK employs thousands of office workers and field operatives to control immigrants there will be a similar uproar from loonies like you.

It's much simpler to leave the EU and deal with the worst excesses of immigration....

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
Like I said, there's already enough control in current EU legislation.

The problem is the bone idleness of British politicians in not bothering to implement it. Even worse, during and after the referendum most havent even bothered to mention it.

What a surprise.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
Except it is a con. Anyone with a permanent address qualifies for NHS treatment and benefits in UK.

Britain cannot treat people differently without a humongous bureaucracy to control it all.

So you're bullshiting again Gavros!

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
The Single Market has never meant uncontrolled migration.

As I have put up here many times, Directive EU 2004 (38) allows for control of migration from the EU. That is strengthened by Article 112/113 of EEA. The UK can press for further controls as part of the EU reform process that is getting underway.
