Actually wrong there peeps. Not surprising as Thickle has been a wrong 'un for years. Jeremy has actually made himself look more statesmanlike than May ever could which is weird.

Jeremy Corbyn tells Theresa May and EU leaders to stop posturing
Labour leader uses speech in Brussels to call on both sides to take steps together to end impasse in Brexit negotiations

The Labour leader, while scornful of recent comments by Philip Hammond in which the chancellor described the EU as “the enemy”, offered a surprisingly even-handed analysis of the impasse in the Brexit talks.

Speaking at a conference on the future of socialism, Corbyn said both sides needed to take steps to make progress in the negotiations, which are stuck on the details of the estimated €60bn (£54bn) divorce bill.

“The issue of Brexit is obviously a huge one in Britain,” he said. “Let me be clear, the British Labour party does not see anyone in Europe as an enemy. We see people across Europe as friends. You are our colleagues, our partners, our comrades and our friends.”

Corbyn added: “Our commitment is clear. We must and will respect the result of the EU referendum but at the same time build a new close and cooperative relationship with our fellow Europeans based on our common interests. We are internationalists.

“So I urge all leaders on all sides – the UK and the EU. The UK and the European Union must take steps together. There is no need for insults or divisive posturing. It is our responsibility to build a relationship that will continue to thrive for generations to come, and we in the Labour party are determined to achieve that.”

BREXITEERS URGE MAY TO ASSUME NO DEAL IF EU TALKS DON’T PROGRESS

Leave Means Leave letter urges PM to abandon trade talks if no progress is made.

by Westmonster October 19, 2017
A letter to the Prime Minister signed by politicians, business people, economists and military figures has urged Theresa May to assume and prepare for a No Deal if the EU continues to advance negotiations to talking about trade.

It reads: “If at the European Council this week, the EU continues to refuse to discuss the future framework for a trade relationship, we should formally declare that we are assuming that we will be subject to WTO rules from 30th March 2019”.

The letter also makes the point that: “No deal on trade is better than a deal which locks the UK into the European regulatory system and take opportunities off the table”.

The letter is signed by the likes of Lord Lawson, John Redwood MP, Tim Martin of Wetherspoons and Major-General Julian Thompson.

Time for the government to get their act together. If the EU continue to refuse to talk trade, then the country must assume No Deal and prepare for such an outcome.

And along comes Swiss with his nasty little comments. How about answering my question about a degree and being a Londoner or is that beyond the intelligence of a specialist business analyst who can't get a decent daily rate unless he was lying of course!

Great to see the EU assuring UK citizens of their future right to reside in EU countries today.

Oh wait. It's us who have made the right moves. Meanwhile, they wait for their money to be delivered...

Interest rates should and will go up.

The era of zero interest rates has caused a severe misallocation of resources, fuelled a credit boom and sent asset prices (property and shares especially) through the roof.

It's been hugely beneficial for holders of capital, who have made large sums of money in capital appreciation, but it's been a disaster for savers.

It has also undone the small progress that had been made since 2008 to deleverage the global economic system. If anything things are even worse now than they were in 2008. Sovereign debt and household debt in particular have spun completely out of control.

The sooner it ends the better.

Is the Polish govt conservative?

Mind you if labour do get in and screw the country, you’ll be sitting in Poland while the rest of us suffer. And not one ounce of shame will you feel.
