EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
BBC
Britain will vote on whether to remain in the EU on Thursday 23 June, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.
The prime minister made his historic announcement in Downing Street after briefing the cabinet.
He said he would be campaigning to remain in a reformed EU - and described the vote as one of the biggest decisions "in our lifetimes".
Ministers immediately divide

If you are adamant that to remain is the only option, then surely people should vote for the Lib Dem's as they are the only party that want to stop in the EU.

In reality, the Jewish loving, Labour party are more divided than the Tories on this!

NJ,

A Hung parliament is an interesting proposition as each of the party's will no doubt have to talk to the Lib Dems (if they get enough MP's) their red line for forming a coalition will be that Brexit is stopped regardless of the will of the people.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
The trouble that Labour has, as Len McCluskey pointed out, is that the majority of labour members may want to stop in the EU, want a second ballot etc, but the majority of labour voters want us out of the EU and may switch to voting Tory to get this!

Now there's talk of a Nov election but mediocre May would need to put on a much better performance than last time or it would be another hung parliament.

It's you cunts who have made a pigs ear out of the country.

What's so bad, Gavros?

Also, how are WE to blame for the Government having no plan in case we voted out, The fact we have an PM who has no backbone whatsoever and also the fact 95% of the Politicians do not want Brexit and doing their utmost to scupper it along with the remain voters acting like spoilt brats.

But still, it's OUR fault.

McDonnell intimated that, the motion doesnt.

The point is moot in any case. I wouldnt want to see another referendum. Its up to parliament as a whole to sort this mess out.

True but they do want very close ties with the EU.

Labour are calling for a referendum on the deal and the ballot won’t include the option to remain.

Gutted?

Once this is done those of you who haven't already died need to be rounded up and shot. With a musket. In the bollocks.

French media are all reporting on Corbyn’s call for a general election and show clips of him saying “if enough at the conference want a 2nd referendum then we’ll hold one...”

Of course this doesn’t weaken negotiations at all.

May making a pig’s ear of it again! Bloody woman makes a career out of mediocrity.

Looks like Labour and JC to the rescue again.

If the austerity monger Mays Brexit plans collapse if there is no general election, they will vote for a second referendum

"master's missus, in case you didn't know, is a JAM ROLL. "

I strongly suspect that will still be the case once the UK leaves the EU.
