EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
BBC
Britain will vote on whether to remain in the EU on Thursday 23 June, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.
The prime minister made his historic announcement in Downing Street after briefing the cabinet.
He said he would be campaigning to remain in a reformed EU - and described the vote as one of the biggest decisions "in our lifetimes".
Ministers immediately divide

Pickle a lot of what you have posted is speculation, opinion, guess work or the combination of all three. So to dress it up as truth vs lie is ridiculous.

Many people who voted leave have changed their minds as they did not realise the implications for the UK economy.
Apparently even the murdoch empire have softened their tone I hear.
We should have another referendum especially once negotiations are or are not complete as to whether the deal or no Deal is acceptable.
Many of my reasons for thinking this is a horrible country are not necessarily tied to the EU or immigration rather just how this country is so class ridden and hierarchical.
Old people are treated like shit and kids abused left right and centre.

What concerns Leave concerns would you like addressed?

The defence of UK sovereignty was a lie.

Freedom of movement in the sense of "breaking point" was a lie.

The NHS calim was a lie (as has been demonstrated by the fact that taxes have to be raised to fund May's 20bln "birthday present".

The promise the UK has a future both economically and constitutionally outside the EU is a lie.

The notion that the UK could get what it wants in that the EU would "cave in" to a firm negotiating position on Brexit terms was a lie.

So what real Brexiter concerns that were not lies would you like addressed?

Can't you count that far or something.

TLE Thanks for your answer.

The question included “going forward” as we obviously can’t change things going backwards unless time travel has been invented and no one has told me.

You want the status quo which I have no issues with at all. The problem is that 52% of the people that voted don’t and their concerns would need to be addressed. The same as the 48% who voted to remain need their concerns addressed.

There has to be some middle ground on what people (maybe begrudgingly) can agree. Until we, as a country, come back together on this divisive issue we will not be in a position to negotiate effectively with the EU.

As you are someone who thinks that the UK is a horrible place to live you surely have some understanding of why people voted for change?

FWIW I think we will still have a relationship with the EU. From just a financial point of view it is in everyone’s interest. Germany want to sell cars, Spain, Greece and France want to sell holidays, etc. It’s billions and billions of euros that European countries will not want to risk going elsewhere. Likewise the U.K. need these products.

The EU has a lot of problems at the moment and nothing will be finalised until they are resolved. IF Merkel does fall the whole ball game changes.

You're just a double chinned, sweaty, David Brent lookalike cunt. Of course it's a lie. "Ambiguous" language more snide cunt comments. Fuck off an be honest you country bumpkin.

Swiss, as you're very very thick I will number my points against your last post.

1. It was not a lie, it was ambiguous language but not a lie.

2. Regardless of your opinion on 1 it has still not turned out to be false or misleading as we have not left yet.

3. The government of the day PROMISED an emergency budget the next morning should a leave result be called - that was a massive LIE then and has been proven to be a massive LIE now as it did not happen.

I would say promising an emergency budget and putting a price on how much it would cost everyone is a much more heavyweight lie than some ambiguous words on a bus not many people saw.

You wouldn't, because you're thick.

You keep saying "going forward "?
Have you recently done a management course at work or something similar.
Here's what I want.
UK to stay member of EU but not in Euro.
No federal government for all of Europe rather a trading bloc with the chance for us to live in other countries without restriction.
I don't want to stay here when I retire it's a horrible place to live .
And as hammer and pickle said all the liars and traitors should be arrested and put on trial.

The NHS money thing swung the vote for sure on the undecided in the last days for sure. Filthy Brexit lies.

Lies are weighted. That was a heavyweight lie wasn't it?

Thank you for pointing that out to me but I don’t think the fact that I was not permitted to vote on a matter that very much affects me as a Brit is an irrelevance.

And I do believe, going forward, this fact is going to be increasingly relevant as courts in the EU are going to be ruling on it.

H&P I was asking Remainers. You are neither a Remainer or a Leaver as you were not entitled to vote in the referendum so what you would like to see happen going forward is irrelevant.

'Hang the Brexit campaign was based on more funding fir the NHS from the money we pay into the EU. Oh so they lied? '

No it wasn't. The bus thing happened only a day or so before the end of the campaign.

So that's you lying for a fact.

And let's not even start on breaking the registration rules to get more Remainers on board after they had finally been dragged out of the pub by Remain's cynical exploitation of Jo Cox's death.

As TLE seems reluctant or unable to say what he would like to see happen going forward is there any Remainer who is willing answer that question? I am assuming that the status quo is not an option unless there is a rerun of the referendum.
