BBC
Britain will vote on whether to remain in the EU on Thursday 23 June, Prime Minister David Cameron has said.

It clearly is, FO.

There's a huge issue but Corbyn has put his head in the sand hoping it would go away. It's now split the party to pieces and his leadership should be called into question.

Your argument only holds any water if you accept the failing is one of dishonestly.
What - as Bolty and Willtell think - the problem is one of incompetence?

I don't agree - creating adequate personal wealth allows me to step out of "the system" to a degree entirely of my choosing - and way beyond any guilt trip the have-nots would care to try to hang on me for doing so.

You do realise it's 2019, Branded?

A lot as we've seen can happen/change.

We have to put faith in dishonest people all the time. It is called politics.

I look at what the context would prompt them to do. For personal advancement derived from getting a good national deal, they will work a different way in this scenario.

Think about it. -

They had motive to not work for a full Brexit, what motive would they have for getting the UK poor deals?

No it doesn't bode well but at least we know Mrs May will go very soon after Brexit is done and dusted.

I suspect, if you peel off all the veneer & rhetoric, the EU's stance on this is still waiting for the UK to "blink first", despite what is carried to them via the media and diplomatically.

They, like the government still seem not to believe that leave won the day, and they will still get exactly what they want on or before 29th March.

Remainers super-glueing May's eyes open through their activities to get the whole thing cancelled hasn't helped them.

Fo, I believe them when they say they want to get a deal etc etc etc.

However, them actually GETTING a deal is a different matter and couldn't negotiate their way around IKEA.

Possible but would you put your faith in negotiators who are fundamentally dishonest?

I'm not haggard. I'm not an old frog. I just had a shower after doing several hours of logging so only smell of my deodorant.

Apart from those little details, you'd be absolutely spot on!

Its ultimately not your decision in the end. Its the system that allows you that benefit.

If they are wilfully under-performing, it could be because they did not believe in the project and hope to water it down.

If it is post-Brexit and they are "stuck" with it, their approach might change.

Possible.

So our negotiators are either wilfully under-performing or simply incompetent..
Either way, it doesn't bode well for future deal-making and sunlit uplands does it?

I once did a search on "Jesuit handlers" because it was the kind of accusation I had never heard save in historical works in the period I work in (1600-1700s)

The results are interesting,
