Was looking for this thread to post this the other day.

If the UK are liable to pay 160bn to the EU because it's in the withdrawal agreement, the UK will definitely be leaving without a withdrawal agreement/deal, which was the plan all along. Nothing to stop the UK cutting a deal on more realistic terms with the EU once out of course.

I see the EU are looking to use the virus as a justification for it's (very) existence.

Here's a thought - get rid of the whole administration and use the money to fight the virus.

They might need someone to help them claim unemployment benefits though. Every cloud (for some) and all that...

Janet Street-Porter wowed everyone with a public suggestion that as Boris is sick and Piers Morgan doesn't think Raab is a good substitute, Keir Starmer should use his experience to run the country.

Don't ya just love left wingers and their stupid naivety...?.

The impression is the government is in permanent election-campaign mode, which ties in with Cummings being in the driving seat.

It is he, after all, who is being provided with the kompromat on the rest of the cabinet and party.

There is a role called Deputy Prime Minister appointed at the behest of the PM
There hasn’t been one since NICK CLEGG

Isn’t Dominic CUMMINGS keeping the seat warm?

Must say though after this week it had never occurred to me that we don't have a Vice Prime Minister. If Trump became incapacitated they have a Vice President so how such measures aren't in place in British Parliament is baffling.

To be fair, the EU are saying he was pushed out because of failings under his tenure.
