Shut up ChilTheKunt they are discussing Brexit on here, not your petty immature party politics bollocks you rely on like it's your chewed up comfort blanket.

Jo Swinson - Absolute farce of a pro austerity cunt who voted with the Tory whip more times than the likes of Gove under that repulsive coalition.

I fucking hate liberals.

What facts from the links I've given you do you dispute, Gav? Hopefully not the gov.uk one? That's from the horse's mouth. Hopefully not the Lawyers For Britain one? The article is written by Martin Howe QC... I can't imagine him being too impressed if you think you know better... If you dispute any of the facts I've sent to you, please feel free to produce your own (official) facts and shoot me down?

There are dozens of links to choose from. Pickle says they are too simplistic, from me, a graduate and company executive, but he answers his own question i.e. they are the ones that are simple and straightforward to read and understand. I'm at a loss to know what it is that you would be happy with as a FACT..? And that's it really, isn't it? You don't WANT facts - you want to continue spouting your rhetoric about chlorinated chicken and cliff edges and abandoned HSE and Food Standards, even though several of us have shown you, CATEGORICALLY, that you are talking nonsense..!

And I wasn't saying "We MUST leave 'or else'", I was saying, if you like, "It is imperative that we do leave, because of what we will face as a country if we don't." But you knew that...

If non EU exporters want to sell their products in the SM, they have to abide by EU standards because the EU can afford to dictate terms of trade. Outside the EU, the UK will not even remotely have the same purchasing power - it will have to take the terms given by the likes of China, the US and of course the EU.

That fact I have to explain this basic stuff to you drives one point home more than any other; Brexit is a total disaster and it's about to get much, much worse.

COMMERCE thrives on borders being there so there is a trade-off to get things bought and sold and if countries have plenty of customers within their borders wanting certain products NOTHING will stop COMMERCE taking place.

American chicken bad.

Vietnamese and Brazilian chicken good!

If COMMERCE conquers all, why do borders exist throughout the world?

Again, you have no plan, just 'belief'.

i.e. bullshit.

The answer is COMMERCE conquers all.

and dont post links up from brexit central or lawyers for brexit. That's a load of palpable wank.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
If we deviate on tariffs and or standards, the WTO itself says a border has to exist.

You havent got an answer on this, you never have had.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
But smuggling of cheap goods, whether it be food, cigarettes, alcohol (even people)etc will always happen in every countries borders, it isn't a specific EU problem. It's just being used by the EU to be fucking awkward.

It really is a 'mountain out of mole hill' scenario, anyway if said chlorinated chicken ended up in a Dublin restaurant they would be prosecuted if found out.

Also talking about the high environmental standards of the EU, which car company was heavily fined for falsifying diesel emissions data?

I have already provided you with official links re food standards after Brexit Likewise H&P re HSE arrangements.

As ever in these 'debates' you guys are now simply repeating the same nonsense that you have already been called out on!!

WE (the UK) have already said we will NOT put in a NI botder. That is IT as far as the UK is concerned. If the EU wants to play with that one, LET THEM.

You have to stop getting emotive snd making shit up.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
rationally. clearly yours doesnt.

If we deviate from food standards and tariffs, it becomes very profitable to smuggle shit. I saw a presentation which showed that one lorry full of Argentinian beef would be worth £50,000 to whoever got it across.

Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
Im not talking about choice, im talking about food standards. If we allowed chlorinated chicken to be sold in the UK then we would need a border in NI to stop cheap chicken being smuggled across the border. Same thing for beef, same thing for GM. That's why the EU insists on the backstop, to prevent any border. if any of you leaver knobs were confident that 'alternative arrangements' could be put in place to obviate a border, you'd have no trouble with the backstop.

Gavros,
It's been said before ; the consumer doesn't have to buy US chicken; if they do, it's their CHOICE.
