Foreigners are buying this country’s assets because of Brexit. The exchange rate has encouraged the Chinese, especially, to buy Blitish.

Is selling our selling our utilities, breweries, power generating etc off to foreigners a subtle defence in case Trump wants to make an offer?

UK tech companies secured a record £5.5bn in foreign investment in the first seven months of this year, research shows.
This was more than the amount invested per capita in the US tech sector in the same period, the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport said.

I thought everyone was going to shun the UK because of Brexit! This country doesn't need the shackles imposed on it by the EU, tell them to do one Boris!

"The UK has a disadvantage in its high black population which seems to have a leaning towards drug use"

This thread has some unbelievable bollocks on here. This maybe no.1 though.

Unfortunately, according to the govt's own statistics, black people are more likely to have used illicit drugs than white british people.

You can look it up yourself.

From where to these white middle class people get the money to use this "obscene amount of drugs"?

For the record, middle class white people take obscene amount of drugs. Obscene. I cant believe you have put the UK drug problem on black people.

Well yes I can believe. This is the brexit thread where lunatics can say any old crap as if its reasonable.

...and rather lively at times.

Not sure it's the sort of liveliness most posters are seeking - or can probably handle. A few for sure, but not the gobby ones.

I would have though Bangkok more his style. I seem to recall that he brought some rather "knowledgeable" opinions to the table whenever that place was mentioned.

I really think you missed a trick with your user name. Woodenhead is appropriate. The UK has a disadvantage in its high black population which seems to have a leaning towards drug use. Three times as many as Asians. But to link Brexit to drug use is really fucking stretching the bounds of stupidity.

The top countries for drug deaths are the coldest and dampest, as well as having socialist governments. I guess the cold makes people more depressed and socialism means easy access to money. It feeds the feckless needy who drift towards drugs and when they fall asleep outside it's often terminal....

Scotland is tops and Eastern European countries are down the bottom. Not surprisingly peasants without a pot to piss in don't take drugs and Scotland running a socialist government spending £2000 a head more on welfare than taken in taxes, is effectively drugs on welfare....

Welcome to the modern diverse world but fuck all to do with Brexit.

How do I explain it?

Well, said poster has on various occasions wished me face cancer, claimed my children were not my own and expressed regret that half of Europe is no longer occupied by the Red Army just because she can’t address my perfectly well-intentioned posts in a civilised manner.

It’s kind of a banter thing we’ve got going.

So you say you haven't spent the last 5 years warning us because you are bitter and wish us harm. Rightio. So how do you explain the very charming post below from this morning where you directly attribute the word "hope" that another poster loses their house:

As long as there is the possibility of war or great wealth to be got, there will be influence by various powerful factions from political to religious ones. Why people think they have intellect because they know of one of them is fucking ridiculous.

The worlds history is told on the influence of something or someone.

Grow up.......
