Jolly good - you can sort it out among yourselves now.

Weren't Unilever the company that Remain told us would DEFINITELY be relocating their HO to the Netherlands?

Given that they have to pay much higher wages in Holland, as employees pay over 27% National Insurance (excluding income tax) for their pensions and long term social care, employers pay 18% or 23% towards the same, I think Unilever may have been telling a few fibs, from day 1.

His argument appears to rest entirely on the implication that the UK government is weak and corrupt whilst the Dutch government is strong and noble.

Clearly he's a wanker.

He's explained this many times in his own mind. If we're too thick to see that as clearly as he does, well....

I already have and there’s no point going into it with a disaster capitalist’s lackey like you.

Talk us through the public interest being underwhelmed (whatever that means) by high paid jobs STAYING IN THE UK after being told they would all go to the EU please Thickle.

If a British kid leaving a British university can get a job in Britain to both further their career and stay close to the people they love whilst doing so, I suspect that they will be very, very whelmed indeed.

In fact, if their parents had voted to Remain, even more so.

Yes.

I’m sure that in a Brexit UK, multinationals like Unilever will be able to cut a deal with HM government as regards corporate tax on said highly paid admin jobs.

This is very much a scenario we all expect and Unilever shareholders, the Tory party and any other disaster capitalists involved in between will be delighted. The public interest however will be less than overwhelmed.

'So before we go on, do you understand what a multinational corporation's headquarters is for?'

Yes. It's to provide lots and lots of highly paid jobs and thus contribute massively to (in the case the UK's) the Treasury and wider economy. Just like we were told wouldn't happen.

Of course "they" need "us".

It's Institutionalised Entitlement writ large - so large, in fact, that people can't see it.

Anyone remember project fear? Also Yellow Hammer?

One question i can never get answered is this:

If the EU dont fear our potential for success as an idependant trading nation, why are they wholly insistent on a 'level playing field'

The long held belief of many that they need us more than we do them is becoming truer by the day.

There is no sign that Unilever is about to stop supplying the SM as a producer and distributor in the EU.

So before we go on, do you understand what a multinational corporation's headquarters is for?

Well...well.... who would have thought it..but they said all huge companies would be leaving and taking their employees the other way?

Unilever the Dutch conglomerate has two headquarters in Rotterdam and London, but will now amalgamate both into headquarters in London only in November, just before Brexit.

WTF are you talking about now? Brexit has cost me £thousands yet I support it after voting remain.

I wasn't going on about democracy. I was merely pointing out that a hypocrite would be someone that pretends to be a democrat until decisions go against them when their true anti-democratic nature comes to the fore...

That's YOU being the hypocrite!

Don't go on about democracy. It's a fallacy. You know that.
