Re: EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron
I saw a story that a woman in the UK bought a fur coat from Germany for 200 quid only of course to have 19% VAT slapped on it. Brexit cunts kept that from individuals buying goods from abroad.

Another mate not VAT registered also does a bit of buying and selling clothes on EBay. His profits have gone since 1st Jan.

Sure companies can claim is back as input VAT.

Thanks for replying Pickle.

I think the numbers in that article are largely down to COVID.

Brexit (so far) will have had very little impact on trade. That’s not to say it won’t, but it hasn’t yet.

What is the reality check you’re talking about Pickle?
Let’s deal in facts and not broad opinions of what might happen.........

Teething problems at the ports? Absolutely.
I’m sure that won’t last forever.
How have the markets been since 1st January? Pretty strong all things considered.
Housing market? Hard to say at the moment.
GBP? Pretty strong vs the dollar & the euro.
