The UK debt, if it's ever paid back, will be paid back by the people of the UK.
The EU debt will be paid back by the people of France & Germany, no matter where the money is spent.

Yeah, but, unlike the EU, we can't Borrow! Borrow! Borrow!
With UK government debt, fast approaching £2 trillion and no sign of paying it back, seems like, that's exactly what we are doing.

I said nothing of the sort about the EU - you can't read Sergei. What I am going to say though is having a currency of your own to devalue is exactly the path the Kremlin mob and the Jesuit Handlers have been helping you down, so you carry on your merry way.

So, what you are saying is that the EU solved the problem of excessive borrowing by borrowing more.
In 2008, with few exceptions, everybody followed US and EU and kicked the can down the road, lumbering future generations with mountains of debt. They continue to do so (including the UK, but we have a currency to devalue)

The point is the "accelerating" collapse of the domestic market not only in Greece but all over the world was rooted in reckless and ill-judged borrowing by SOVEREIGN governments and fuelled by the FINANCIAL SERVICE INDUSTRY the leaders of which, at the time, were located in the City and Wall Street. Everyone made money out of it while the going was good, not just those nasty German car exporters with their nice, relatively weak Euro. And then, following the collapse of the bubble in 2008, it was actually largely the EU with its capacity to borrow cheap and keep inflation down, that made sure exporters' interests, and that of domestic consumers, were secured. So it made sure demand did not in fact accelerate in its collapse, but actually grew at a steady rate until 2020.
But hey, you can always bullshit about how I'm such a DRIP and get a cheap laugh around here.

Surf’ Yes mate I hear you Also worth noting that with the collapse of their domestic markets accelerating, a decline in our exports would not be exclusively down to us and would have happened in or out of the EU
