NFL (since 2016)
Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent.

Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB,

Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt.

lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all.

The perils of trading players!

In WHO league I needed a QB to replace Josh Allen on his bye week but would've been better leaving him in thanks to Mariota and his -1!

In my non-WHO league I replaced the Texans with the Panthers, which helped a little but no match for my opponent's Pats defence.

Worse still I've scored over 265 points in the last 2 weeks and lost both times...

A pasting and a smearing wrapped up in one.

AJ Green has been wasted at the Bengals for years, he's fucking quality.

Does seem to be picking up regular injuries now though.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Offence has been struggling this season so far, offensive line is very banged up although should get Wynn back from IR in a few more weeks as well as the first round receiver chosen this year so hopefully some reinforcements, also lots of talk about trading for an AJ Green or OJ Howard as an extra weapon.

Robert Saleh, our defensive coordinator.

He's a man proud of his achievements ;o)

And I don't think us or the Pats have particularly magical receivers (Edelman and Kittle probably the stand outs), but come on, you can't really mention Jimmy G in the same breath as Brady yet, or probably ever.

Brady makes his receivers look better than they are as the cheating cunt is mustard and our D-line would have to have a cracking day against him.

Still a million miles off the game happening anyway.

It will be 49ers or Saints against you Pats crystal.

Brady vs Jimmy G will be very interesting, student against the master, although it could well be more about the defences

I agree about that annoying slaphead cunt that kept creeping on to the field (I'm also bald, so can say it)

Shocking all round and what a prick the roided up DC of the 49ers is. He’s well suited there.

You'd better start saving your pennies to pay for my chelts entry Burnsy my boy.

Lowest yards of Goff's career with a huge 78!!!

Skins up next, so have to be confident of going 6-0 with their off field dramas and injuries on it.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Yeah, we kinda' fell over the line, though.

Thought we [Jets] were trying our level best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory there - four big yardage penalties in a row on Dallas' final possession. We just handed them a chance to go for the two-point conversion to level it up. Thank feck they missed the pass.

Jets are a mess - god knows how we got past Dallas there. Darnold is a class act, pure and simple, the rest needed shooting to put them out of their misery. All defensive discipline has deserted them this season - we're racking up penalty after penalty.

Jets just beat the cowboys. Fucking comedy!

Fuck you Dallas.

Niners baby!

Told u the D-Line was legit.

Niners shut down Goff and the Rams offense.

5-0 baby! Rams 3 games back already.

Jimmy G played well too.

Ninerrrrrrrrr Nation!

Lucky the defence is dominant, as this punter is the worst I've ever seen.

My missus could kick it further.

Tannehill still shit, and you cant have DaLLLas without back to back (to back) 'L's.

In an ever changing league, some things are reassuringly consistent.

This niners defensive front line is very very good.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Darnold tearing it up up now that he's back.

Just threw a 92-yard touchdown pass to Robbie Anderson.

The Jets have not had a QB as good as this for a long time. No doubt we'll waste him by sticking with Gase, but the kid an throw.

21-6 at half time.
