2016 NFL Season
Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent.

Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB,

Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt.

lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all.

Someone upset the Bills. 17-0 up against Minnesota. Not good viewing if you’re a Vikes fan.

he's a clutch player and much more dynamic than darnold, who looks very robotic. he'll no doubt make mistakes but the upside is worth the risk

Re: 2016 NFL Season
I mean I think its pretty safe to say they're going to be a competitive team this season, they should have beaten the steelers and should have gone to overtime against the saints if they had a kicker who didn't shit the bed.

The defence is for real, they've got 11 turnovers through the first 3 games, Myles garrett is a monster.

If Baker Mayfield can make plays and not shit the bed I think they could easily make it 7-8 wins with their schedule.

Only worry is just how inept Hue Jackson is as he looks completely out of his depth being a head coach.

The Browns have Oakland next week. That would be a better test to see where there are.

all this bollocks about him needing a year to learn plays. he has a rocket arm and great vision, he's also better than taylor

Re: 2016 NFL Season
Tyrod Taylor getting hurt was a touch of luck for the Browns as he was playing terribly but Hue Jackson would have never pulled him from the game.

Mayfield completely changed the game, if he'd have started the season they'd probably be 3-0 right now.

If anyone listens to the around the NFL podcast, check out their twitter feed, one of their guys predicted this game 3 weeks ago and was absolutely spot on with every detail, was very good.

The Browns finally win with the added bonus of the TD scorers for each half also being the only 2 men who are backable for both teams.

Re: 2016 NFL Season
Has there been a worse primetime game in recent memory than the fucking Jets Vs Browns tonight!

If the browns can't get a win here I could see there season spiralling out of control again and another awful season, such a shame as people had high hopes for them and the kicker has cost them in both of their first 2 games.

Mike agreed and crystal, yes, it's the NFL covering their arses against lawsuits

Re: 2016 NFL Season
Gets to a point where they have to just accept that this is a violent game, the people playing it know what they're getting into.

I understand them doing everything they can to limit the hits to the head after all the trouble they're in with concussions and all the lawsuits, but other than that just let the gown men go out there and see who's bigger, faster & stronger.
