WHO Poll
Q: 2019/20 With seven games to go will West Ham stay up
a. Our demise was sealed when the idiots on the Board appointed Moyes, we're down
b. Despite the efforts of Moyes and the players, we will stay up by the smallest of margins
c. I'm beyond caring & couldn't give two hoots either way

NFL (since 2016)
Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent.

Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB,

Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt.

lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all.

Gotta admit I always like to see the Redskins competitive. Always root for them to win the NFC East. Shame they can't seem to get things right.

watched the aaron hernandez doc series. I'm not sure even the producers were convinced with the angle they were pushing in regard to reasons for his behaviour. what I got out of it most was an even greater dislike for lawyers, if that was possible

As the old rap lyric goes ( referring to a different American-heavy sport):

"Either you're slinging crack rock or you got a wicked jump shot"

A lot of these players grew up with friends and family involved in crime.

The smartest things is to leave it all behind but sometimes for good and bad reasons you don't.

No idea about this specific situation and no excuse at the end of the day but there you go.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Because some of these fools like to think that they are gangstarrrz, as well as professional sportsmen, especially some of the younger lot.

Fecking idiots. Earning millions of dollars a year playing a sport they are very good at, but could now spend up to ten years in jail instead.

If you can't weigh up that simple equation and make the right decision, then I have no sympathy for you whatsoever. And no excuses will suffice.

Actually made me lol thinking about these cunts mentality.

That Baker was on 2.5 mil a year for 4 years after also getting a 5.5 mil signing bonus.

I mean what the fuck did he need the robbery for other than a thrill?

The Baker one is weird. Why the fuck would a very highly paid do that sort of thing?
Roid rage? They are both young so an Aaron Hernandez CTE flip out (that is such a sad story) is off otf the menu.

On another note, I've just read that the Rock is allegedly buying, or leading a consortium to buy the XFL.

The plot of Ballers has become reality....
(And if any of you haven't seen Ballers- absolutely watch it. It's brilliant)

Still waiting for the owners of both red and gold brigade and deportivo hammers to confirm if they want to remain in the league.

I did whomail scorcio and he said he will jump in if we need someone to fill a spot.

Makes complete sense CF.

The 6th makes sense, can always move it if the start of the season is postponed.

That's before you get to the players who are opting out for the season and squad cuts.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
I havent set a draft date and time yet, was still waiting on the last couple of people to confirm and/or see if we could get a new person to join.

Week 1 isnt until 11th september at the earliest and may well be pushed back with the way the yanks are dealing with the virus. I do prefer to leave the draft until as late as possible as nothing worse than your first round pick getting injured in training camp.

Can pencil it in for sunday 6th september for now as that would be my preferred date but will depend on what the majority can do

Dwayne Johnson has just bought the XFL for $15m.
Good luck to him making this a sensible investment. It does not have a great track record.
