Re: Weekend Bets...
On course those cash punters backing the horse coming in 2nd would of thrown away their tickets and gone home with no real recourse on hearing the amended result to collect their winnings.
On the other hand some smaller punters and those in shops would of already been paid out before the weigh in.
Those bookies who pay out 1st past the post on the double result usually exclude this scenario.
I once done a reverse forecast where the placings were reversed after a dividend was returned and ended up being paid on both.

Re: Weekend Bets...
I imagine PP would have still paid out or refunded, but some racing snippet I saw said that not all of them did (including 365) and that they don't have to.

Quite frankly it should be mandatory for the cunts to have to refund in such instances, as the bookies have enough in their favour as it is.

BHB should set their rules, not the other way around.

And a shame to see the horse die on the flat on Saturday, not many things worse than seeing a horse break down while in full flight.

I backed the Brian Hughes winner with Skybet who still paid out.
He also has a full book of rides at Musselburgh tomorrow where he normally does well.

Proper heart in mouth on Saturday with Cyrname...him getting up was the biggest cheer heard at ascot since Frankel romped up in the champion stakes

Re: Weekend Bets...
I see Brian Hughes weighed in light for a winner and yet the bookies still keep all of the stakes?

That is bollocks, not the punters fault that the jockey is a thick/cheating cunt.
