Jordan Ayew
We're supposedly interested in signing him as a 'back up' forward in the summer according to this ex employee chap.

Difficult to tell how good he is playing in a team as bad as that.

Mail suggesting he could be Sakho's replacement who is going in summer.

Could well be true that Sakho is going as the last bloke who had a ding-dong with Slaven didn't last long either. That's if there's any truth in there being a ding-dong.

To be fair I like Sakho but I do think he's currently playing on his reputation earned last season rather than what he is doing now which, to be frank, is not a lot.

Papers are saying Gustavo Bou and Lanzini are mates. No idea if it's true. But he's got some goals in him.

If we're gonna progress as a club we should only be looking to buy the best players of the teams that finish ABOVE us.

In almost all cases that would probably be a very quick negotiation. We enquire, they say no, we move on to more realistic targets.

Luckily I also think it's a bad strategy. Overpriced, overvalued players aren't good for us. Underpriced, undervalued is what we want.

I was planning on signing him to do the catering.

That's right Sidney, all he needs to do is learn how to defend now.

Re: Jordan Ayew
I've got no problem signing players from anywhere, I just wonder why the fuck a club who's main aim this summer is to sign an outstanding forward to take us to the next level, would spend £10Mil+ on a player who isn't better than what we've got. 8 goals in 30 games for fuck sake.

But, Y'know, he's got PASSION.

Janmaat at right back. I like his passion.

Eggbert, that is different that was a golden age we had including Ferdinand and Lampard, man u had one with Beckham,Scholas etc,it doesn't happen a lot and especially the ones that have been mentioned that we should sign from relegated sides.

Re: Jordan Ayew
Rossal

from what I read this will be in addition to the main 20m plus or whatever striker

Rossal 2:15 Tue Apr 12
Re: Jordan Ayew
And hopefully we'll have Europa so will need to bulk the squad out a bit as we dont seem to have much strength up top in the academy

But we should be aiming alot higher than Ayew or Mitrovic

Re: Jordan Ayew
I'd keep Carroll and Sakho IF they were ok with mainly being back up

would be too great options to have on the bench

Re: Jordan Ayew
I'd fuck all three of those off to be honest without much of a care (as long as we obviously replaced them).

Eggbert Nobacon 2:06 Tue Apr 12
Re: Jordan Ayew
could currently make differing cases for all 3 of those not being here next year deal

doubt they'll all leave but wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised if one does
