Big reveal on episode four was that Ryan is the murderer of Gail Vella. Everything about the way he door-stopped Davidson matched what happened to Vella, just without pulling the trigger. Mark my words people.

Spoiler alert.... maybe
The Asian fella in the head office is actually a good guy - he has orchestrated it so Ted is out of the force so Ted can truly investigate the force. It is rotten to the top.
The reason it has taken a decade to get anywhere is because Kate Fleming has always made it close but not close enough. She is OGC and knows the bigger picture.
Donaldson is related to Corbett’s wife.

My theory is that Jo Davidson's mum is Ted's boss - also one of the head honchos of the OCG.

Friend of mine had pretty much her first acting gig in that LoD episode - as Jonesy, the armed cop who got shot protecting Arnott. Not a bad way to start a career.

Seriously worried about the increasing width of Martin Compston's face. Even more disconcerting than some of the crap acting

When they was playing that audio tape back I was sure it was the voice of the actor who played Neil Godwin in The Office and it was, as he also played Jimmy in the last series of Line of Duty. Think I will take up detective work

I'm convinced H is either an individual hiding in plain sight of H is not an individual at all but a network which will be impossible to pin down.

it looked like Lee Banks was the one that killed Lakewell in the prison.
Didn't Ted visit Lee Banks, off duty, in prison?

This series is brilliant. Jed Mercurio had really dialled it back which is a weird thing to say after an assault rifle shoot-out and a prison murder in the last episode but this show exists in its own world. It reminds me of series 2 iin that the real bent bastards are still just shadows.
