I suppose if away fans get a coach down they can herd them to the coach. Has there ever been an event at the stadium with away fans yet? Quite how they are planning on doing it I dont know.

Re: The Stop-Go w--kers
bubbleblower, I mentioned this after the game last Thursday. Its not going to pan out well if ALL supporters are rounded up together, and sent in the same direction!!!
With just a couple of "Simpletons" directing the Stop/Go boards!!
Recipe for disaster!!

On Sunday walked to Stratford High Street DLR. No queues there.

I don't know how they are gonna segregate away fans. There's gonna be trouble at some point.

Re: The STOP-GO w--kers
Could have a raffle ticket system. So, for example, after the game the tannoy states "Will all the supporters with green tickets numbered from 0 to 499 please leave now". And so on.

It will work really well*

*Poster will not accept any liability for it not working well.

Re: The STOP-GO w--kers
The thing is that the system probably needs to be there but they are a load of jobsworth arseholes that stand there thinking they are in the FBI ' left early twice now so have not seen a STOP yet
just know it will al kick off sooner or later

This one more demonstrates the errosion EngEabd once the humble queue at the bus stop was polite and orderly and quiescently English.

Alas, now nothing more then a bun fight. Akin to the unsavoury scenes one sees at black Friday sales events.

Show some decorum chaps.

If you're queuing to get away after the game, you've only got yourself to blame.

Used to take me about 1hr 30mins to get to bar at Queens and about 1hr 30 to get home. Now takes me 1hr 5min to get to rooftop bar about 8 mins from my seat and 1hr 5 mins to get home. Sort of evens out having a much worse seat that I can do jack shit about. Although an extra £9 to park at Ebbsfleet is a rip.

Re: The STOP-GO w--kers
Suffered it on Thursday & hated it so on Sunday I nipped around the back of the stadium, took the long way towards the shopping car park, nipped through the Tap East, had a pee in the bogs outside waitrose, walked through Westfield to the station entrance that we weren't allowed to use on Thursday, straight onto the central line eastbound. Piece of cake.

Given the number of people I thought it was very well managed on Thursday night.

Re: The STOP-GO w--kers
Well there is no alternative Chester, that's the whole point.

These queues and that are EXACTLY what loads of us said would happen. It's the PCB OSer div mob who claimed it wouldn't, they're the ones who cited queues at UP as the reason for people not supporting West Ham and wanting STs at UP.

Other than a bottle neck getting out the station before which I'm now wise too I didn't queue at all after the game.

As with Upton Park you have to be lazy or thick to get queuing after the game, even more so at the OS.

Hopefully people's own stupidity won't stop them going like it seemed to at UP.

Re: The STOP-GO w--kers
I experienced this on Thurs, my old window cleaner was an Arse season ticket holder and said similar there with queues, but Stratford has the best rail connections we are talking told. Isn't the whole thing down to fans not being allowed to disperse directly into Westfield?

Along with the stop and go signs I would like to see some 'Watusi' signs so we can all have a dance while we are waiting.

Re: The STOP-GO w--kers
So what's the alternative then with 50-60k people spilling out at the same time and majority wanting to head to the same destination?

Of course there has to be queue management. I am fed up with the whining snowflake element who want everything to be about them.

Wembley being for internationals every few months and cup games twice in April and once in May?

Properly the same as every other week domestic football that.
