Don't underestimate how much we are all missing UP

Without getting too hysterical I think the atmosphere around the OS at games stems from us all still going through some type of mourning for UP. I still can't believe I wont walk down Barking Rd, have some double double,few beers and feel part of something my family has done for generations.
We really need to create something new but that is genuinely still the old West Ham. What that is don't know yet but we all know what it isn't. Westfield and the surroundings are so far from where we have come from and years away from the working class identity I feel so strongly about.
I miss Upton Park. I want my club back

Don't underestimate how badly we handle what little success we have.
We lose a cup final and next thing the manager is driving a Ferrari and riding anything In a skirt and the players kick off when we sign 2 world class players.
Fast forward to last season we have a good start and when the league form tapers off we declare we would sooner win the cup than finish 4th anyway. But of course end up doing neither.
Still doesn't stop us having a hangover worse than the. Champions.
Some clubs are just born to fucking fail

OTB... yeah had no problem with how it was.. I liked that it was a bit lopsided...gave it some character... however I did know a couple of blokes that said once the terraces were lost that was it... as far as I know I don't think they have been back since ... always remember after the Southampton game (3-3) walking down Green St after and bumping into a couple of blokes who had chisled out the c&b crash barrier they had stood behind for X amount of years... was going in one of their back gardens... always makes me laugh that
