Decent Indian restaurant in Colchester
Staying just outside Colchester with a group of mates, looking for a post Essex Way walk curry in that fair town.

It'll be a Saturday night with all that entails.

Google tells me there are many to choose from, so anyone got a favourite?

Cheers
Lard

Even then it's a walking marathon every day. Fine for the first day, but it'll start to hurt on Day 2 if you're carrying a backpack. Four days plus would be more pleasant.

Oh right.

Looked into doing it a couple of years back, starting at Epping. That's as far as I got, it's along old way! I think it's about 3 days/nights to do the whole thing. Good luck with it.

Simon.s
we are starting at Harwich and walking to somewhere near Langham.

Plan is then to cab it into Colchester. The Hospital Arms and Curry India sound a great shout

Curry India is a great shout. Couldn't remember the name of it earlier. It's a better choice given that the Hospital Arms next door is a great pub to stumble from, or was when I used to frequent it around 15 years ago. It was always a really good ale pub if you like that sort of shit.

Curry India next to the Hospital Arms and The Alishan opposite Gala Bingo are the two best. I think Curry India edges it though. The Gurkha on Berechurch Road is good as well.
