Yeah Mick Fitz' was speaking about Rough Quest on C4 racing... reckons he had the best retirement he had ever seen from a race horse

Rough Quest also died in the last week.

Grand National winner who was placed in the Gold Cup and 2 King Georges.

When a classy nag goes it can hit me more than a celebrity dying.

Re: For racing fans - Moscow Flyer
Saw him at the Curragh in Sept (Champions parade for Champions weekend) & he looked great. Had chat with Barry Geraghty many years ago & as you could imagine we quickly turned our attention to Moscow Flyer. He said he was useless at home. He couldn't beat bad horses in his homework. You could work him with a horse rated 50lbs inferior to him & he wouldn't go past him at home.
Completely different proposition on the racecourse.
Amazing horse.
Might have won a champion hdl as well but for foot & mouth.
