The Walking Dead Season 7 'contains possible spoilers'
So tonight is the night viewers in the US finally get to see who it is that got to Meet Lucille. U.K. viewers have to wait until tomorrow night for the privelage. Much as I hated the ending, the final episode in last series was a master stroke in building tension and I am intrigued to see where they go now, especially since the Right Hand Man Clip was released. Based on POV shits, I thought it could be Michonne, but I can't see them doing that.

Also looking forward to King Ezekiel and the Kingdom

Potential SPOILERS from online leaks

so in the graphic novels, Glenn gets it. Leaked SPOILERS claim this time it's Abraham and when Rosita gets hysterical, Faryl lashes out and as punishment Negan also takes out Glenn, then chucks Maggies wedding ring in the mush saying all the women are his wife. I hope it's not those two, but it does sort of make sense

Other rumours around rick losing his right hand like he did with the governor in the novels, but if that were to happen it would ruin the potential for the Carl/Negan relationship. The other rumour is that Negan gets Rick to chop Carls arm off and then stops it at the last moment, laughing and claiming it shows his power, which would give weight to that relationship to start.

Anyway after 6 months waiting, I'm looking forward to it

It was like the writers challenged themselves to see how many plot holes they could get away with, on a positive note, the tiger was hilarious, about as realistic as Rick trusting Dwight.

Negan has, or claims to have, the cure. That's why his outfit is called the Saviours. In return for the absolute loyalty of his subjects (to the point where they call themselves Negan), he has promised to cure them. The aim for him is that he has an army of human zombies, who are all part of the 'collective' Negan, a bit like the Borg from Star Trek.

Can't be anymore ridiculous than the plot we've had to suffer this season anyway.....

Re: Here's a better script than they could come up with.
To be fair why do you need to find a cure... the Zombies are becoming less and less relevant every episode.... anyone ever done the Walking Dead walk through at Universal Studios (Hollywood)... fucking great laugh

To all you moaning wankers..........write the script for the next series. Forget the comic books; you have 8 episodes to define the next part.

Do you find a cure?
Do you kill Negan?
What do you do with the treacherous dumpster wankers?

Not sure I'm going to watch the next series, this one was absolute dog shit!
Daft characters like the king and the dump people (who somehow have forgotten how to speak correctly, despite it only being a few years since the outbreak)

They've completely lost their way, shame though it was brilliant for a while

Re: The Walking Dead Season 7 'contains possible spoilers'
Season 7 seemed largely about setting the scene for Season 8 which is being billed as 'All out War.'

Quite enjoyed the first episode and the one where Daryl was in the cell. But apart from that not great - well not up to the standard of the previous seasons anyway.

Think that they have introduced too many different communities in quite a short space of time. Bit like our summer window where we brought in large quantities of shit rather than a few players of genuine quality.

One episode (or maybe a couple of back to back episodes) I would like to have seen would have been one that summarises the rise of Negan and the Saviors showing how they came together and rose to power as a group. That could even be a spin off series somewhere down the line.

Really enjoyed this series.... but what the fuck was that last episode about?? Had more holes than my 10 year old Calvin's.... only decent thing about it was the bloody Tiger... Oh and Rick is certified BENT now.... 2/10

I like it and still do. But then I am not a weirdo who wants more from a show called the walking dead than seeing ultra-violence.

You can't use budget as an excuse for poor cgi though really - the effects of the film monsters were all done by one guy on his laptop and are superb. And it's not like the cgi required is game of thrones scale anyway. This season has been one tiger, a deer and the appalling dump backdrop. That's it really.

''the budget must go purely on actors wages.''

Bear in mind AMC's cheap and cheerful roots. Until this season, Andrew Lincoln was earning $90K per episode. The likes of Emilia Clarke on GoT get $500K per episode.

Lincoln and Norman Reedus finally managed to get that kind of salary per episode this season. The reason for this has always been that on TWD they've always felt that they can just kill people off at will, which is quite a handy negotiating position.

Truth is AMC don't give a fuck. They just want the best viewing figures they can get for the cheapest possible price.

Thinking about it, that may sound familiar...

the budget must go purely on actors wages. the make up has got progressively worse on the walkers, the CGI is non existent apart from the Disney on crack deer and the ridiculous tiger. fuck knows who's script editor but the dialogue is poor. character development is all over the place, one minute Rick's a no nonsense hard man, the next the cunt acts like he's had his balls removed. and they seem to get it totally wrong when getting rid of characters, Abraham, Glen & Beth all should still be in it., and i liked the casting of Negan but apart from that first episode, hes been more Larry Grayson than genuine mentalist. I'm too far gone to stop watching but if anyone asked me about I'd say give it a wide berth

''Don't get me started on the group of Vulcans living in the dump.''

LOLZ !

So, even with viewing figures dropping by more than a third between the season premiere and the finale, it still gets a little less than 3 times as many viewers as any other show on US cable.

When you see how little they've invested in production, well, I shouldn't be surprised if they carry on as they are. The cunts.

Re: The Walking Dead Season 7 'contains possible spoilers'
The series, sorry, season just gone was pretty average and the finale last night was really poor. An absolute crock of dull boring shit. A ridiculous shoot out with a busy cunt tiger getting involved.

Rick has gone from a hero leader to a prize prick.

Re: The Walking Dead Season 7 'contains possible spoilers'
The garbage people can't be the whisperers surely? There was a whisperers teaser poster at the start of this series suggesting they may be included but they're totally different except for having a female leader. I can't imagine fanboys will be happy if that turns out to be the case!

So the entire timeline is meant to be less than 2 years yet society is meant to have regressed to levels beyond Mad Max?

Glad I gave up on it when I did tbh.
