Re: Pedro Obiang
As a result of Alex V's opinion I am convinced he should be CAPTAIN

Re: Pedro Obiang
Excellent. Just need to give sakho and Carroll new deals now. After all they are going to be like new signings after no other cunt has signed for us.

Spot on Eddie, it's crazy because they are screaming out for a decent central midfielder.

It's a shame that the Spanish FA probably don't even know this fella is Spanish.

Re: Pedro Obiang
Excellent. Been a few clubs sniffing around him, so nice to get him tied down further.

Re: Pedro Obiang
I'm not 100% convinced by him still. Aspects of his game are mediocre imo, particularly on the possession side. I don't think he offers anything yet that would mark him out as special or dynamic or game-changing. On the plus side he has a good physique, works hard, and the midfield has a better balance with him in it. Also still has a good few years left so I can't complain about the contract length. I just want to see more improvement.

Re: Pedro Obiang
Good news. He is the anchor in midfield to build around. Needs a better central midfield partner than Noble or Kouyate IMO if we are to improve in our ability to get and keep the ball. A wide left or right midfield upgrade also needed ( depending on where Antonio plays as he says he prefers wide left apparently ? ). Without these upgrades we will not be able to get the best out of any strikers we bring in ( again IMHO ).

Btw, anyone know if Obiang is completely over his end of season injury? Is he back at pre-season training?

A good player for where we are at the moment.
He is not good enough for top 7 but adequate for a team below that position.

become one of the first names on the team sheet no doubt, fair play to him

Re: Pedro Obiang
He is a very good player and covers a lot of ground. We definitely should be getting him tied up on a longer contract. He was poor against city but so was everyone. We were completely outclassed and our tactics all wrong. We played into their hands.

Re: Pedro Obiang
He's been consistently decent afaic.
