Re: Berbatov anyone?
If he's kept himself in good shape I'd give him a chance. Not like pace was ever a big part of his game.

This is a serious thread you fat queers, a simple head count of ANYONE who thinks we should sign an experiened striker when none of our current strikers habe scored a fucking goal this season

I'm theory maybe but fuck me it's been a lifetime since he looked an effective premiership player

'We should have signed Moussa Sow'

Based on talent, I'd agree, but the choice to go to Turkey - particularly after having been brilliant at Lille where he won the title with Hazard, Gervinho and Cabaye - then to the UAE says to me that he's more interested in the readies than a genuine challenge.

Better than Zaza and could teach Fletcher and Calleri some new tricks

I think I could teach Calleri a few tricks.

In fact I reckon my 5 year old probably could too

We've got Carlton back now. He's only 33 Personally I'd get Nolan back as well to play along side him. He know's where the onion bag is.

Re: Berbatov anyone?
Is he really only 34?

Apparently bob Bradley is after him so one thing that's guaranteed is that if we don't get him, he'll score the winner against us for swansea

Bearing in mind this is a thread by Frankie, who is the type to start a thread titled "I just scratched my arse and then sniffed my finger."

It's quite disturbing how many have given a serious answer.

Re: Berbatov anyone?
If we are prepared to pay for Lacazette. Then why not push the boat out and buy Romelu Lukaku ?

Personally I can't see either coming here unless we pay stupid money.

However going by our track record we will pull off the deal of the year and sign either player who immediately forgets his shooting boots.

As for Defoe could do a job for us in the short term but at What Price ? I'm sure he cost Sunderland over 15 mil and is on 80k a week.

Berbatov on a free would be good if we get the one that played for Tottenham and not the one that stood around at Manchester. However at 35 he must be passed it.

Why not go for a younger player Tevez is only 32

Re: Berbatov anyone?
We already have carlton cole training with us, bring all the oldies back to the club
we can have a little challenge who scores first, yes i know berbatov never played
for us but leave the door open, he might walk in, and walk out again.

Berbatov seriously? NO
Defoe Yes at the right price
Lacazette ~ We've no chance whatsoever

Re: Berbatov anyone?
That would be a typical Sullivan signing but we should go all out to convince Lyon to sell Lacazette to us in Jan, only down side is they'll probably ask close to £70m for him.

Good idea.

Maybe we should see if Vic Watson is busy these days as well.

Saido barehinho would not be too much. Wants away big time, a move would do him good. Could be a good fit.

Just give Fletcher or Spanish Toni a shot
