Should we save Andy Carrol for burnley/hull games and rest him against liverpool
With us being desparate for points, and Andy Carrol being injury prone is it better to save him for the 2 crucial 6 pointer games next week and maybe rest him on sunday against Liverpool ?

A run out off the bench should have him ready for the 2 important home games this week.

He never gets to match fitness as he gets injured before then.

Do we know latest on Kayoute, Antonio and Cresswell? Will they be fit?

Seems Liverpool still sweating on Mane and Matip, hope they dont make it. Sturridge and Coutinho both out which is a plus.

frankfat.
Liverpool are beatable.
I totally agree but unfortunately, not by us as we are a shower of shit.

Bournemouth were unlucky to lose 2-1 to Arsenal and beat Liverpool because they have a work ethic that we could only dream of.

We have lost 5-1 at home to Arsenal and I can see the same scoreline again on Sunday.

Beatable yes but not by us especially if players like Noble play as they did on Saturday

Sad to say but we've reached the point where there is no confidence in AC's ability to last a whole game against Liverpool.

Very sad, but that's the reality.

The geezers made of glass.
It's getting tedious.
If he plays regularly for the rest of the season.. I am a monkeys uncle

Use him as a sub but bring him on earlier than Sat. We saw what happened to Sakho when we tried to play him for a full game too soon after coming back

Play him from the start if he dies, well it's a chance I'm willing to take

I would use him as a sub, but I can understand that many think he will be the saviour for me that might be too soon.

Play him as a substitute again to get his match fitness. Start him and his chances of injury will go up even higher.

He did 15 mins or so so next time 30 mins. Probably be 1 or 2 down (or more) but we have no striker for Burnley and Hull if he gets crocked. We have to keep him available in some form until Sakho can do a couple of games or Jan transfer window.

Fletcher is a game lad and tries but simply not good enough yet and certainly not to lead the line.

IMO of course.

Great idea we'll leave it to the likes of the Mighty Bournemouth to take on Liverpool.
Personally I'd have had all the players in on Sunday morning to start preseason all over again.
Lazy good for nothing bunch of wasters

On the other hand we could send them on a mini break to Spain but make sure that the plane only has enough fuel to get half way. Good fucking riddance to the lot of them

Save him for the Cup Final.

Carroll is still coming back from injury so wont start anyway. He will start with Fletcher then bring Carroll on I reckon. I dont think saving him is a great idea because he needs games. I would rather him play 20-30 minutes against Liverpool and then play longer in the next games. Fingers crossed he remains injury free!

Yeah think we've got no choice boys

if sakho was fit I'd say don't play him but he isn't so think its right to start him

Liverpool are beatable

Re: Should we save Andy Carrol for burnley/hull games and rest him against liverpool
I think people are right about starting him tbh

the problem is he was being used from the bench when we had other options last season

its not a case of 'IF' here is it, its a case of 'when' he next gets injured

he will not go injury free until end of jan

NAILED ON

Jesus Christ. Get the big cunt out there and lump it up to him. If he dies again then so be it.
