Obiang in for Noble
Lanzini on the bench
Are we being allowed to keep Ayew and Kouyate for the Man U game?

He'll pick the exact same starting line up as he did for Swansea.

Vexed
I don't think Noble needs to be sacked just rested for two home games the following week against Manchester. We need him more for our home games and we have options to do this before Kouyate leaves for Gabon.

Re: Team v Leicester
Blimey Alf, pack it in, you've got me agreeing with Willtell.

OK, Swansea are the worst side in the league at present but surely we don't want to revert to 3 at the back ? Nordtveit finally has a good game and you want to change his position again ? Sorry mate but that's a bit daft to me.

Only reason to change I can think of is to bring in Obiang. I'd like to see us with 3 in the middle. Dimi and Antonio can't be dropped for me.

Ayew and Lanzini to come off the bench. Only other concern for me is whether AC can start every game without falling apart, but I'd still start him in this one.

Re: Team v Leicester
I guess have to go with sir alf's team. Btw, Fernandes playing well when we are 3 up, proves nowt, if you can't look good in those Circs you never will.

Re: Team v Leicester
Think it will be another nice away win.

Always had a decent record away there and would have won last year if it weren't for a cunt ref.

Willtell 11:15 Thu Dec 29
Re: Team v Leicester
So we won 1-4 away with a back 4 and you want to go back to a back 3! It will be an unchanged team except now that Lanzini is back he may be preferred to Ayew.

Obiang might come back into the team as well but we have a lot of games coming up so he may have to wait until Monday's game...

Mex Martillo 10:31 Thu Dec 29

You may well be right Mex but I am following the old adage about rewarding good performances. He may well revert back to what we thought before the Swansea game but don't you try to provide an incentive to players and motivate them to play to their best? :-)

Is Lanzini injured or was he dropped on Boxing day ?...or suspended !?!
