Re: Auschwitz
Wuite simple really.
The ones who were useful were kept alive just, the ones who weren't were gassed, shot etc.

Re: Auschwitz
Of course starvation played a part. So did beatings. And executions. The Germans didn't really give a fuck about the inmates and found all sorts of fun ways to abuse, maim or slaughter them.

But that's not what you are saying is it? What you are trying to imply here is that the place wasn't a death camp and didnt have thousands of people being sent there for the sole purpose of being killed. Am I right?

Re: Auschwitz
Whoever says that Auschwitz was not a killing machine and an industrial plant, including gas chambers and crematoria is an enemy of truth, evidence and humanity

Just as you, Ron, eat with your mouth, and talk with your mouth.

Or maybe that should be shit with your arse and talk with it too.

It doesn't?

Re: Auschwitz
"Deviated from the line"

What, like Primo Levi and other eyewitnesses?

"The line" is made up by conspiracy theory loons as a straw man. There was a vast industrial complex attached to Auschwitz, and everyone who isn't an idiot accepts that.

And it doesn't stop Auschwitz from also being an extermination camp.

Re: Auschwitz
BTW, that "tenth" was from memory, before some pedant says it was wrong - but I don't think it was far out.

"Motivations aside" = "the main point aside".

Auschwitz was both a slave labour camp and an extermination camp - the fact that some of the slaves starved to death doesn't disprove the gas chambers

"The poor bastards were worked to death and starved ..."

You're not allowed to say THAT!

You have deviated from the line that they were taken there with the sole purpose of being gassed.
And, not just gassed but gassed to DEATH.

Re: Auschwitz
Yes I think they did. The poor bastards were worked to death and starved, but I don't think it was because supply lines were cut.

Ronald_antly 11:35 Fri Feb 10
Re: Auschwitz
Whatever the motivations were, it seems clear that they STARVED to death.

Re: Auschwitz
Deliberate starvation played a part, Ron.

Rations of about a tenth of what a human being needs to maintain themselves.

Of course, the guards got by on a thirtieth, as they were so caring...

neilalex 11:28 Fri Feb 10
Re: Auschwitz
But Ron - why would zee germans feed people who they were going to kill? Surely you can see that that doesn't make sense?

Ronald_antly 11:24 Fri Feb 10
Re: Auschwitz
Seriously??

People whose bodies are near skeletal, and starvation played NO part.

"At a guess I reckon they starved to death"

Hahahaha!

Yes, Ron, in fact some of them survived and flew the planes into the World Trade Centre on September 11th.

Re: Auschwitz
Strange how Goering didn't seem to suffer the same rapid weight loss - maybe he secretly arranged with the allies to spare the supply lines of pork products...

(...still don't know how that worked with secular Jews, though)

Re: Auschwitz
I've seen the harrowing pictures of piles of dead people whose bodies are skeletal.
At a guess I reckon they starved to death, which was probably caused by Allied bombing of the German supply routes.

I've got a bulk load of tin foil for sale if you're interested

Just a theory, Sold.

I have to say I'm a little dismayed by your tone, given that I thought we were ONE-EIGHTH MATES.

Re: Auschwitz
So Ron you fucking fruit... all the skeletal bodies at Belsen and the like were all caused by Allied Bombing?? Not too sure who is more off their rocker... you or Mr C&P a youtube link (that no one watches) Golden Oldie...
