WHO Poll
Q: 2018/19 Wolves (H)
a. At last we have a win now let's make it two, Win
b. A win against 10 men and two leagues below us is fine, but this will be much harder I'll take a point, Draw
c. Who are we kidding, a win against Wimbledon and all is rosy, forget it we're getting our arses kicked in this one, Lose
d. It's at times like these when you really do miss Love Island
e. I was all over this game until I found out it's not on the box, the broadcasting companies really don't care about us hard core fans do they, I might pop off to Thorpe Park for the day instead, obviously in my WHU shirt

Of course, everybody knows that each portion of your five - or ten - a day has to be about the size of your clenched fist, so lobbing a few black currents and raisins on your porridge counts as much as the apples and pears in my cider does.

Re: 5 a day
The number itself is not scientific in any way. On average, people who eat balanced diets that include unprocessed fruit and veg get sick less often over their lifetimes. So government health departments have a vested interest in getting populations to eat them. They then just pick a number they think they can successfully market to their nation. In other countries that figure is commonly higher and (more rarely) lower.

Re: 5 a day
I eat vegetables and fruits with other stuff because they are really nice foods! It's a weird thing to decide is somehow a punishment or 'monkish'! I'm surprised anyone other than the occasional person who lives only on KFC or whatever, can avoid five a day. It's not a lot really is it, once you had some fruit in the morning and some veg/salad with lunch and tea?

He stopped us getting any details and she was a bit put out by all the beer that got involuntarily spat all over her! She was an ex-stripper, she thought it was normal.

Were they washed and peeled or did they still have their green tops still on? If so it must have looked like Bugs Bunny was living up his arse?

What about hurting themselves and leaving me and you with the financial and emotional bill?

Re: 5 a day
Not at all.

Most people can drink and take drugs without being complete dicks, getting addicted and hurting others.

Seriously though you have made many comments about the unfortunate affects alcohol has had on your life, I assumed (incorrectly) that that would mean you object to substance abuses.

You don't have to live like a monk to eat healthily any more than you can live life to the full when you are type 2 diabetic who can't walk a flight of stairs.

gph 4:19 Sat Feb 25
Re: 5 a day
How can you equate eating healthily with living like a monk?

5 a day is a bit of a slogan rather than sound advice, but it's not a vow of celibacy or any of the other tortures monks put themselves through.

Good food = sensible hedonism
