Re: Tonight's football
Even when he wins he is dull.
Always has been, always will.

Lampard made a good point. Mourinho will dig in and get results whatever it takes. Guardiola plays the same way even though he hasn't got all the players he needs.
He particularly needs some full backs to play his way and more effective ones than Sterling.

Re: Tonight's football
Except that when ManU beat Chelsea Mourinho was seen as a tactical genius. Shut them out and scored two of their own.

Re: Tonight's football
0-0. City should really have won it, despite playing brainless football. Makes you wonder how successful Pep will be here. It was blindingly obvious what needed doing at HT and he couldn't fix it.

Mourinho ? Well he's just Mourinho. Anti-football from the off. All well and good playing like that once that fucking idiot got himself sent off, but that's the only way he knows how to play. Fucking hate the cunt.

Re: Tonight's football
Quite a skill for Mourinho to fashion such a dull team out of such an expensive squad.

Re: Tonight's football
Gary Neville is effectively saying that STERLING is a £50m forward who cant strike a ball properly.

Aguero hasn't really hit one properly tonight either to be fair. But he CAN.

Re: Tonight's football
Mourinho has parked the bus and City without Silva lack the wit to break ManU down.

Still, I am enjoying the competitiveness on display.

Re: Tonight's football
Disappointing game tonight. Some of City's play is just fucking mindless. They insist on trying to pass it through the middle rather than going down the wings. Sane, who's looked good when I've seen him before, seems to have some kind of allergy to the byline. Amazing that they're so fucking dim.

Man U taking the usual Mourinho-style approach: 10 men behind the ball and take them on the break.

I'm quite keen for City to win this. Going to be interesting to see if Pep sorts this out at HT.

That's now a BLANK for Sunderland in eight of their last nine league games.
They scored TWO GOALS in that other game.
They are 12 pts from safety with 5 games left so are on the verge of a drop.
