Remember the one in the west side used to see it after every home game getting the life squeezed out of me. Didn't think to wait five minutes until the crowd had gone.

Remember it well, had one of the signs in the South Bank and am pretty sure the West Side had one as well.
I was 10 and in Glasgow the day it happened. We used to go up every new year to join my mums family for the madness that is/was new year in Glasgow's East end. Didn't really take it all in at the time but I do remember the remainder of our stay after the game was far more subdued than usual.

Was really a need for a sign next to it saying Don't look up to read this sign
I always understood the Ibrox disaster was due to people trying to get back onto the terraces after a late Rangers equaliser but apparently everyone was moving in the same direction i.e. Out of the stadium. and someone slipped.

There was definitely one in the away end in the south bank. You could see it from the seats in the bottom of the west upper.

They should have 'Remember Upton Park? You've Been Shafted' signs above the stairs at the cess pit

I remember it well as it always struck me that one day there would a terrible accident on the North Bank with supporters falling down the stairs cos they were looking up to read the sign ...

Yes I remember this on the North Bank. Along with the signs warning of non-drying paint on the roof supports to discourage climbing.

cholo ~
Unless it was added later than my time, there was never any non-drying paint on the rafters to deter climbers in the North Bank
I remember on one occasion, we were at home to Chelsea. It really appeared at one point that Chelsea had actually "taken" the North bank with blue & white scarves waving everywhere
As it turned out, a lot of our mob had mugged off a bunch of chelsea fans on the way to the ground & used their scarves to lure the rest into the North Bank
By 3 o'clock there were lots of Chelsea scarves hanging from the rafters. Some were there for ages afterwards!
As it turned out it had been
