Are you voting on Thursday?
In the local elections?

I didn't even remember, until someone mentioned it at work, that there are elections happening at all.

Last time I voted was for Blair. I thought it was Lionel not Tony.

No local election where I live, so guessing it isn't all towns.

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
No point where I live, the place is a Tory stronghold on a parish, council and parliamentary level.

It's ironic that the same people who blindly vote Tory are also the same nimby's that are up in arms because the councils have sat back and let opportunist developers build houses on green belt, green buffers and through garden grabbing.

Although they conveniently ignore the fact that the commuter-exec houses they live have mostly been built under the same circumstances.

You reap what you sow.

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
Yes. Our local councillor in Epping is a good bloke that works hard on behalf of the residents. Will be voting and hoping he keeps his position.

Re: Are you voting on Thursday?
I definitely will. The fella who is our local MP works tirelessly. He's old school politician. Ypu see him Saturday / Sunday nights delivering leaflets. Lives in the area and actually cares about where he lives. He has done shit loads to make the town better.

I haven't had a polling card through. Is it all or just some?

Wasn't it all delayed to tie in with the General Election anyway?
