Francesco Totti
786th & last game for Roma today aged 40 having made his debut at 16 & scored 307 goals.
Captain for the last 18 years & expected to become a Director of the club.
Came on as a 54th min sub and Roma scored in the last minute to win 3-2 and qualify for the Champions League.
Can't believe he didn't ask Genoa to kick the ball out in the 10th minute so he could come on through a guard of honour.

Gutted Totti?

He won one Serie A title, came second in nine!

joey - how many did George Best win?

So there we go, I think I've proved that Darius VASSELL is basically as good as Francesco TOTTI.

How many World Cups did DARIUS win? Totti was a phenomenal player and at his peak he was one of the main reasons for Italy's World Cup win.

Whilst he might not be in the top echelon of players, the fact he stayed at Roma for so long sets him apart from most.

NINE international goals? Incredible longevity at club level, but not convinced he's up there with the very best.

Re: Francesco TOTTI
Fantastic achievement was a great player in his prime.
Many Italian players including, Maldini, Baresi and Pirlo have hit similar milestones.
Obviously due to the pace of the game out there, would last 5 years max in th PL
