Joe royal on tour with U2.
http://www.u2.com/tour

Let's hope this one goes off without anything going off.

Currently parked up at twickenham stadium for 5 days waiting for Sunday when I drive to Berlin.

As a footnote the last date on this tour is in the Heysel stadium although it's called Stade Roi-Baudouin now.

Be interesting to see if there is any record of the Liverpool and Juventus disaster.

Any of you lovely people going or is it a needles in eyes hobby?

Gone is probably my favourite track from Pop. The Popmart live version was superb, as was the DVD from that tour.

I still think their intro music/entry on that tour was one of the best ever with the grooved up version of Pop Musik.

I was asked to leave catering on the 360 tour when I asked the edge if he supported West Ham as he was born in the same hospital as Bobby Moore.

Mysterious Ways is a cracking song but not a massive fan. Saw them for free at Earls Court in early 90s

Yep. Glad that Bad seems to be a bit of a fixture in this setlist.

Could do with a bit more 'Pop' on the next outing maybe. They seem to have pushed that stuff aside?

Do you get to see any of the shows

We get AAA laminates.

Dr Moose. I'm just a lorry driver, anyone with a HGV license can do this job.

If you're in Twickenham for a few days, try this Indian. One of my favourites locally. Within walking/staggering distance of the stadium too.

All of it , I'm carrying a video wall on this but we only do Europe* for visa reasons. Start by loading the equipment at an airport or container terminal and end by un loading at a different one.

We get other work on the road , usually spotlights, occasionally clicking , rarely T shirts.

Get fed and watered (the tour catering is excellent) and the odd day or two off for sightseeing, although this tour goes nowhere I haven't been before.

*europe includes Russia and Turkey, we get working visas for those. Two trucks went to Israel 🇮🇱 for Madonna and very occasionally Iceland.

I've only done Russia (twice) out of that.

All you need to do this job is a Hgv license and a very understanding girlfriend.
