Coral Eclipse
What a fix, photo showed that Barney Roy at least had a dead heat if not won it but given to the Stoute horse so he broke the record. Can not believe no on is questing the decision!

Re: Coral Eclipse
To me Barney's snoz is down whilst Stoutey's horse is full on stretched... fair result but for me Barney was the best horse... full of running at the end... another quirk re Eminent.... he loves biting other horses during the race !!

Re: Coral Eclipse
if you look at the still used on ITV racing on saturday (the judges picture) you can clearly see apart of Barney's nose behind the winner, if anything Barney Roy won.

Probably because he did win.

Re: Coral Eclipse
Really pissed off by the result as I am pretty sure a dead heat was about right.

Not sure how they judged Ulysses the winner there.

Re: Coral Eclipse
I had Barney Roy, but I do think that Ulysses has nicked it by an inch.

You will see a completely different eminent when he gets cut in the ground . I'm surprised the horse hasn't jarred himself on going he clearly hates .

Spot on mate.
Sold eminent is a horse I've crossed off my list it ended up 5th or 8th ?
My eyes were glued on it but it was simply outclassed by much better horses.

Re: Coral Eclipse
I had a bullseye on eminent which is a big bet for me if never had a bad run just couldn't go the distance.
Almost a dead heat at the end.
I'm about £150 down today,it's not like I can't afford it but as the saying goes "you show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser"

Re: Coral Eclipse
TeVaz.... he reminds me of Noble Mission.... took them a year or so to sort him out... and when they did he nicked 4 or 5 gr 1's... he's got a magnificent stride pattern... been doing 40mph+ 5/6 furlongs in his breezes... nothing can live with him on the heath... yet the last three races both jocks have tried tactics with him... pace today was fucked... he was pulling MS's arms off... let the horse roll... give him a chance

Learnt what Sold ? Came with every chance to win but just not got the class needed . Think the Derby and Irish Derby form is very poor this year .

Re: Coral Eclipse
I'm just gutted that Eminent got ANOTHER cunt of a ride.... you really think they would have learnt now with that horse...

Had Barney Roy at 11/4 - decision, dubious to say the least
