Happy Birthday Raging Bull
Jake LaMotta, AKA the Raging Bull, reaches the grand old age of 96 today (10th July)

Known for his brutal fights especially against Sugar Ray Robinson, LaMotte fought over 100 fights between 1941 and 1954.

Unlike today, in those days it was common for boxers to fight six or seven times in a month .

His epic series of Fights against Sugar Ray have gone down in boxing History.

LaMotta is on his seventh wife and after he retired from boxing he had a career as a comedian and appeared in 15 films

Truly amazing that he could well reach 100 years of age given his background.
