Agree mate. But we are in the minority. Most fans get excited when he runs down blind alleys and he did score a goal against Swansea. The slightly richer man's Diame.

bit of a premature threat but I'll have Hart playing as a striker if he is dumb enough to join us.

I'm fucking devastated that Kouyate will be starting in our midfield next season.

Re: Team v Manchester United
Not many seem to think we need another central midfielder with an engine, pace and good technique to partner Obiang. Bilic an co dont but they , based on last season are blind to the obvious. Any striker, however good, needs good service and that requires getting and keeping the ball a lot better than we do and have struggled with for years.

Noble and Kouyate are not good enough. We might get a striker and wide man but until this position is addressed we will continue to struggle against the better teams who have good movement and the ability to counter attack.

IMO of course

I'd put money on 2 out of these 3 not being fit for the start of the season:

Carroll
Antonio
Reid

Re: Team v Manchester United
A few assumptions there, Carroll fit, that's reaching for the stars.
Hart surviving preseason as our number 1, no chance.
A real lack of pace and creativity in midfield and fuck all attacking options, so that's business as usual then

Spotted Terry, although in my defence I did legislate that Palace are after Adrian and Newcastle and Boro after Rudolph, Spiegel has of course already gone, someone will come in as backup but who? The less said about Sakho the better.

Re: Team v Manchester United
No goalkeeper on the bench Mr Riddle!

I don't think Carroll is training with the squad in Austria,so expecting him to be fit at the start of the season( or anytime before late September) is probably a bit optimistic.

Personally I think Sullivan is being an utter cunt in not having brought in a couple of strikers by now.
I'm beginning to feel sorry for Bilic in not receiving better support from his chairman in solving our biggest problem for the last few years. To say that the little man in the big mansion is working night and day seven days a week to get strikers in is just so much bullshit.
He might as well hand over the task to his two sons. They couldn't do much worse could they?

The only thing you can safely predict about this game in 4 weeks time is that Lukaku will score against us again.

I did say just 4 weeks away not months, although won't be enough time for Sakho's back I'm afraid.

Would this not be better title of `IF we was playing Manchester United tomorrow and EVERYONE was fit and NO new signing came in….. what would your team be”…. Absolute pointless thread as there MIGHT be injuries… WE might sell players and believe it or not… we might have NEW players in…. this is up there with Gavvy and his daft threads he starts
